This school gives you a head start. Gives you everything you need to know of a basic foundation before hitting out in the field. They will put their time on with you if you do the same. They made sure I understood everything. They are very good people and the best I have encountered in trade school. Nothing compared to the bigger school where you could worry about the money. If you would make it work on your ends, it will work out well at the end of school year. I got a job at my 3rd month and I was glad I pushed myself a lot more than what they expected, because it is easier later. I did real well in class without an interpreter being presents throughout in class and worked with a tool they were willing to give me to understand things that were taught(I am deaf). Overall, I’d recommend this school to anyone who needs a kickstart in hvac.Nothing is easy but if you’d “try” no matter what, it will be easier after that. I think they deserve a better recognition in trade school.It works if you work it. Less

It’s such an amazing and valuable school experience, my instructor was one of a kind and taught me so much about HVAC and more. It’s not like any other trade school around, if you learn hands-on and can have fun with your classmates at the same time, then I would say you would love this school. I recently enrolled in the course at Hoosier Trade School and I can’t recommend it enough! The experience was top-notch, and a big part of that was thanks to the instructor, Jacob. He is a true subject matter expert with years of hands-on experience across multiple technical fields, including HVAC, chillers, and boilers. His deep knowledge really shines through in every class, and he has a unique ability to break down complex topics into understandable, actionable steps. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to expand your skills, Jacob’s wide range of expertise makes him the perfect guide. Excellent school. Excellent instructor/s with lots of theoretical and practical training. To be honest I didn't understand any HVAC before I came to Hossier Trade school but with only two months into the training I was able to troubleshoot 2 furnaces myself. What I also like is the unlimited interaction between the students and the instructors (Josh and Jacob) on a personal level. Instructors are very professional and they have profound understanding, skills and years of experience about anything that has to do with HVAC - residential, commercial and industrial.Moreover, I greatly appreciate the attention given by Josh after scHool, he helped me troubleshoot one furnace over the phone. He also helped me designed the ductwork for a two bedroom house that I'm working on.It is also a place where everybody is welcomed. I also like their financial plan. I highly recommend this school.
