I was completely surprised with Mastercraft Restoration LLC as they are the opposite to every roofing company that looked at my roof. My roof was “long in the tooth” as they say and every company that came out was priced far above what I could afford. On top of that I received conflicting reports of the actual condition of the roof. That is until Tom of Mastercraft Restoration arrived. Tom listened carefully to what I could afford and performed a thorough inspection and worked out a solution that would protect my home and fit my budget. Tom was very professional, polite and respectful. He determined the cause of the leaks in our kitchen and sunroom. After inspecting the areas he explained how they would repair each area. He was even able to fit us in the next day before the storms. When he came with the person who would be doing the repair, he showed him each area and discussed the plan of repair. As he was discussing the repair they found the chimney flashing also needed some help. All repairs were completed in a timely manner. Tom showed me the pictures of the repairs and reassured me that it was under warranty. If there was any further leaks they would be fixed. After eliminating obvious possible causes Tom checked where the gutters were attached to the roof. That is where the issue was. When the gutter people removed the old gutters to install the new gutters they ripped off the protective strip so rain doesn't blow up under the shingles. He quoted her the cost of replacing a entire 2.5 story deteriorating 100+ year old slate roof with a new shingle roof. I have used Mastercraft a few times now. Each time I am surprised at how quickly they make it out for estimates and also repairs. I did have one issue on a repair they did, but came back at no charge the next day to make it right. I had them come out to me another time and Tom explained how I could easily do the repair myself and save a lot of money as opposed to him doing it.
