Enjoying learning all the moves but finding it very difficult to remember all the Japanese names for each move. Also would prefer to learn all the white grade moves repetitively until I can remember them.

YCP Martial Arts has been amazing for my boys. In under a year, they've grown in confidence, discipline, and respect while learning jiu-jitsu. Sensei Evan, Erica, and the whole team are fantastic mentors. The environment is friendly, supportive, and fun—my kids always look forward to class. Highly recommend for any parent wanting more than just martial arts training!

“So much more than kicks and punches!” We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience at You Can Play Martial Arts! This Dojo, led by Sensei Evan and Sensei Erica, has proven to be so much more than just a place to learn Jujitsu. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear that the Dojo is a welcoming and inclusive space where children are not only taught martial arts techniques but also important life skills. For our 5-year-old son, it has been a game-changer. Not only is he learning to focus, listen to instructions, and follow through on tasks, but he’s also developing physical coordination and mental regulation. The structured yet friendly environment has helped him build confidence, manage emotions, and reinforce a positive mindset. The teams patience and teaching style make each class engaging and fun, while instilling respect, discipline, and teamwork. The atmosphere is warm and supportive, making it the perfect place for anyone to grow and thrive. It has been an excellent outlet for our son’s development. My son has been training at the dojo for the past 6 months. He has loved learning martial arts and we have really appreciated all of the mat chats that have reiterated important life lessons. He even chose to have his 6th birthday party at the dojo and it was a massive success! All the kids and parents had a great time!
