While the author wrote the book to, in part, market her practice and skills, this is not a typical fluff piece. It provides a compass that points to key issues and a map through the business lifecycle. A good first read if you are looking at private placement.

Short, sweet and to the point. It's a very basic introduction to the topic, as I didn't learn much that I hadn't already learned from a couple of podcasts. I was hoping it would get more in depth into what would be in the various documents (PPM, etc) and how the legal business entities could be structured.It was pretty much just a marketing piece from a syndication attorney trying to convince you that you need to hire a syndication attorney -- and, frankly, I was convinced. There's just too much that goes into syndication to try and go it alone.

Amazing Introduction to SyndicationsI was looking for good background information on Syndications, and this book provided exactly that! Plenty of good legal tips for either passive investors or syndicators. Best of all, Ms. Taylor highlighted the pitfalls during the process. Great book!
