We recently had a storm blow through, with a large limb falling on our power lines from the house to the detached garage. Called Three or Free , and Alexis showed up ahead of schedule and gave us a quote that we couldn’t refuse. He promptly removed the downed lines and made the area safe for my grandchildren to play. Prompt , honest and very affordable. Could not ask for better. We definitely know who to call for all of our electrical needs. Thanks again!!!!

Putting my recent experience with electricians into words is going to be difficult, but here we go - I had decided to finally follow through with my plan to add a generator connection to our home and possibly get some additional upgrades to an older panel. I was hoping that contacting electricians in the area would be a painless experience, making choosing one for the job difficult. I had dreamed of an experience where phones were actually answered, called returned, questions answered, ideas explained, actually showing up, offering fair prices and top quality work. And, I was right, but it was only “in my dreams”. I called a total of six electricians who did none of these and found even more creative ways to show their lack of character, honesty and bad business practices. This went on for almost two months and only one showed up, but never answered a call again. Then I heard about “Three or Free Electric” and decided to give them a call. At this point, I had nothing to lose. After three rings, the owner (Alexis) answered. No voicemail, no answering service, HE answered ! Alexis was not only friendly, he listened, discussed possibilities and asked if he could come the next day. to look things over. He sent me a confirmation message and the next day he was here and exactly on time (Didn’t expect that). As nice as Alexis was on the phone, he was even friendlier in person. He was polite, knowledgable, offered options and ideas, and was thorough. He even checked some additional things he saw while here as a courtesy. He assured me he would love to help us out and would send several detailed options by email later to consider. (And, he did) - At this point, I knew I had finally found my electrician ! We scheduled the job and once again Alexis confirmed everything including time by email and text. Alexis and his helper (Jacob) showed up exactly on time the first day of the job and explained everything they were going to do. Like Alexis, Jacob was extremely friendly, polite and equally impressive. As they worked, I immediately noticed how meticulous and neat they were. They do nothing half way or cut corners. Even things that are hidden in walls or can’t be seen, are done perfectly. Alexis even uncovered some old hidden issues that he didn’t feel were safe and let me know he was correcting them before they caused a problem. He didn’t add a dime to the quote for that. After two days, all projects were done to perfection, including some extras I asked for. They prepared and tested my generator for home connection then tested every circuit in our house, including our HVAC system. They neatly labeled the panel and provided a step by step laminated set of instructions to follow during a power outage. They cleaned and vacuumed after the work, not leaving one thing behind in my garage or outside. The next day, Alexis even called to follow up, just to make sure we were happy.From the first call on, Alexis was a man of his word and did every single thing he promised to do. His communication is excellent and his work impeccable. He maintains a work ethic that’s lost with so many contractors these days and he goes way above and beyond what he has to do. Sound too good to be true ?.. It’s not. That’s the reason for this lengthy, detailed review. Simply saying we are pleased and impressed was not enough and others need to know that Three or Free is completely different from the rest. No, I’m not a relative, just a very impressed customer. These guys earned every word I’ve written and I’ve recommended them to several already, including a family member. They did a beautiful job for him as well. So don’t do what I did and go through weeks of frustration calling the others, just call Three or Free Electric. One call and you’ll be taken care of. I’ve told everyone “I found the best electrician, look no further”. But Alexis is not not only a great electrician, he’s a good man that operates his business with integrity, values and honesty and thats the highest compliment I can give.

After one of the many affected by the 2026 ice storm and outage (6 days without), I decided I was investing in a 50A outlet and interlock kit for my panel, so I could hook up my generator for whole home backup.From first meeting, reviewing your situation, quoting and installation, everything was great. They are both the friendliest folks you'll ever meet and highly professional. They load tested everything in my house to know what I could and couldn't power with the generator, and are even going to draft instructions to adhere to the panel door and another copy for safe keeping.I assure you won't be disappointed with their services or pricing.

I had a great experience with Three or Free Electric. They came out quickly and were able to fix three outlets that had stopped working, plus troubleshoot an ongoing connection issue with my outdoor lights that I hadn’t been able to figure out.They were professional, kind, and clearly very knowledgeable. What really stood out was how efficiently they worked while still taking the time to explain what was going on. On top of that, their pricing was very fair for the quality of service provided.If you’re looking for a reliable electrician in the Hendersonville area, I’d definitely recommend them.
