Nice bbq joint. Walked from our hotel for happy hour. Service from female bartender was excellent. We had some good beers appropriately priced. Good variety on their tap list. 🙏 we had pork nachos , sweet corn nuggets ,rib ends, smoked wings,breaded chicken thighs popcorn chicken. Food was really tasty and the portions were very generous.

We tried Central City BBQ while visiting NOLA. It has a 4.5 rating on Google with over 2,300 reviews, so we decided to give it a try.We went around brunch time, and there weren’t many customers when we arrived—just a few families. We ordered the three-meat plate with two sides: prime brisket, turkey, and pulled pork.The biggest surprise for me was the turkey. It was honestly the juiciest smoked turkey I’ve ever had! The brisket and pulled pork, however, were a bit dry, and overall I’ve had better BBQ elsewhere. The turkey was definitely the standout and the main thing I enjoyed from the meal.The portions are very generous. My friend and I shared one three-meat plate, and I think it could easily feed three people. Our total was only around $36 for the two of us, so the price is quite reasonable for the amount of food you get.Overall, it was an okay BBQ experience for us. The turkey was excellent, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return for the other meats.
