I had the pleasure of meeting Sherry at an informational meeting that she had with Marshall's Mortuary and Cremation Services regarding setting up a Pre-need policy so that my final wishes would be honored. I was a little apprehensive at first because this seemed so final and depressing. After meeting her and the team at Marshall's Mortuary, I felt more comfortable with the process, and set up a one-on-one session with her to talk about doing a preplan.Sherry was so great with everything. You would think that this process would be grim, sad, scary...it was none of that. Sherry helped me with all the details for my final Celebration of Life.She shows you all of the options that they have, and you get to pick what you want, and they work within a budget for you that you are comfortable with. You are able to make monthly payments, or quarterly payments as well. She also let me know that this preplan is transferrable, and that you could use it with another funeral home if that's what was chosen in the end.She discussed things that I never would have even though of: from what type of service I wanted, did I want to be buried or cremated, picking out my casket, what type of music would be played, what type of clothing and colors I wanted to wear for my service, what type of flowers I wanted at my service, did I want limousines for my family to get there, what pictures of me I would want to be used, what my obituary should say, and even what type of food I wanted my family to serve for the reception afterwards.It felt so good to know that I was able to have a say in how my Celebration of Life would go, and also that my family wouldn't have to be burdened with making all of these decisions. After we finished all of the plans, I was actually excited about it, and I remember saying, "Wow, my funeral is going to be NICE!" LOL.I was so impressed with the service she provided, not only did we do my pre-plan policy, but we also did one for my 26 y/o son. I am so glad that we did that, as some of the choices that he made for his service, I never would have known to pick those things in the event that I ever had to plan a service for him, and I am thankful that I know that if he goes before me, I will be honoring his wishes by doing what we have in his pre-plan.I highly recommend that you work with Sherry for your preplan needs. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how smoothly the whole process goes, and how freeing it is to know that you get to pick everything that you want for your final wishes, and that Sherry will make sure that they are honored!Thanks again Sherry for helping me with this. You definitely have a "gift" for doing this, and I will always recommend you to anyone that is looking to do preplanning!

I cannot say enough good things about Sherry and her expertise, knowledge, compassion, integrity, and all around genuine heart felt concern she has shown me as a client/customer I first met Sherry when she was a co-director at a funeral home that handled my 26 year old sons services… it was soon after she approached me about my pre planning needs, and we sat down and figured out which options would best suit my family and myself… I’m forever grateful for the fact she reached out to me with such great care and concern for myself and my family helping us with every last thought and detail so everything is in line for the future…
