As a local - this is a favorite Texas experience for my out-of-town guests!!This is an incredibly professionally run, warm, experienced and hospitable operation. I have gone on a LOT of trail rides - particularly across Texas - and no one has been as clear in their safety and instruction or had such kind and knowledgeable staff as Brazos Bluffs.The owner, Lem, is proud in the best sense of the word and cares deeply that his guests are safe and have a wonderful time. He is picky about who he hires, too (if you've ever been on a tour or trail ride of any kind, you know how much that matters!).The ranch itself is gorgeous and the horses are well-kept. The trail rides meander across the best of Central Texas' landscapes, open plains, dense trees, hilly forests, atop stunning bluffs that overlook the Brazos River...y'all this is SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AREA.I can't say enough good about the quality of service and staff at Brazos Bluffs and I can say that with authority because I've gone on many rides now with Brazos Bluffs Ranch. As a local, I always look forward to hosting my out of town guests here-- my family up in Minnesota always ask for another trail ride when they come to Waco.It's the best of Texas and a MUST DO again and again! If it's Spring, look for beautiful Texas wildflowers.

We were there this weekend of valentines, my fiancé proposed to me! The experience was amazing we got the private tour. And our guide Ruthie was amazing and very patient with us during the entire horse ride. Once we got to the top, there was a fire and everything for S'mores. The view was amazing in the background. We had plenty of privacy for our special moment the experience will be unforgettable. I would recommend this place a thousand times.!
