Rudd Vision

Apparently, my gift for turning 65 this year was hearing, “Congratulations—you have a cataract in your left eye!” at my annual eye exam. That sent me to Rudd Vision for a consultation, and I’m so glad I went.
The staff greeted me warmly and guided me through more eye-testing equipment than I’d ever seen. Then I met Dr. Jay Rudd, who took the time to explain my options and understand how important my eyesight is to me.
Because I’m nearsighted and have significant astigmatism, we discussed the Clareon PanOptix Pro lenses and the possibility of greatly reducing my need for glasses. After that conversation, I felt comfortable moving forward. We scheduled the first eye for one week and the second eye for the following week.
On surgery day, I arrived half-expecting to walk onto the set of Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange. If you’ve seen the movie, you know exactly which scene I mean! Thankfully, my actual experience was much more pleasant. Both procedures were painless for me, recovery involved a straightforward eye-drop routine, and I was seeing again within hours of each surgery.
Now, one month after having both eyes done, I’m amazed at how well I can see. My only regret is that I didn’t explore this sooner!
Dr. Rudd is personable, reassuring, and easy to talk to, and his staff made the entire experience feel comfortable from start to finish. I trusted them with my eyesight, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I wouldn’t hesitate to make the same decision again, and I highly recommend Rudd Vision.
Just make sure you tell them Skeeter sent you!
