My daughter (4yo) started dance this year and it’s been a great experience. She loves her teacher (Miss Michelle) and the “big sisters” (the high school aged assistants). The class for this age group has three different sections that keep the kids engaged the entire time. The staff is so friendly and do a great job making dance fun. The facilities are clean, there are good time and day options for the young dance classes, and Liberty is great about communication with parents. This is a wonderful studio!

We had my daughter's birthday party at LDC - best party ever!!! We had the studio all to ourselves and two teachers that organized games and a cute little dance routine to show to the parents at the end! I loved the fact that we could bring our own food (my daughter requested an ice cream bar). The whole booking process was sooo easy, too. Highly recommend! Both my kiddos also take classes there, so now we love the place even more!

Our daughter has been dancing here for 11 years, since she was 3. What started as a way to socialize, be active, make some friends has turned into something so much more. The staff here are nothing short of extraordinary. Yes, my daughter enjoys her classes, learning new moves and techniques, but it’s so much more. The culture here promotes kindness, empathy, leadership, confidence, as well as just being a good human. They truly are helping to nurture adults who love dance but are even better people.

If you want a studio that can help your dancer grow in confidence, teamwork, dance ability and creativity, mental and physical strength, this is it. The entire staff is fantastic to work with, are talented, supportive and available for dancers and their families. It is the best atmosphere for those who just want one dance or all of them and any amount in between. Watching the littles who are just starting to find their footing and be a bit in the spotlight (which are adorable but may take a bit of time!) to the competition teams who become like family. I believe Liberty Dance Studio is Waukesha's best.

My daughter has danced with liberty for 11 years and now is on the competition team. We absolutely love the atmosphere and the caring staff and teachers. The students are held accountable to be great and also get so supported to be strong leaders in the studio and in life. I wouldn’t want my daughter dancing anywhere else.

Both of my daughters have enjoyed classes, activities, and competitions at Liberty Dance Center for over 10 years… and still going. The teachers and all the staff are wonderful, friendly, and provide quality training that gives kids a meaningful creative outlet. We have about four more years to go — and who knows, maybe they’ll continue dancing as adults!

We’ve been at Liberty for 6 seasons. As a mom of 3 daughters and 3 different personalities and 3 different levels of dance, I feel an expert when I say that I can not be more grateful to have liberty dance center in my girl’s lives. The teachers are genuine the atmosphere is positive and it truely feels that their mission is to allow kids to learn to love dance no matter your personality and ability and to build not just great dancers, but great people. We are thankful for the positive atmosphere and for the many great teachers that they have looking out for and helping my kids learned to love dance, express themselves, and helping them learn to be genuine good people. ❤️💙❤️ Liberty has been supportive to all my girls needs, whether that’s a little guidance to grow as a person or finding the right class to manage a spirited personality. I love that the primary goal is to help build strong, confident, and well rounded individuals. While it’s a wonderful place to dance, it is more than just dancing.

Liberty is a special place. My daughter came to a class with a friend at 3 years years old and fell in love with dance. She is now in high school and has opportunities that started with classes, grown to joining teams, assistant teaching younger dancers, helping out in studio, and in our community.It doesn't take long before you feel like family here. Our daughter has been at this dance studio for almost 10 years now, and I can't imagine her or my other daughters going somewhere else at this point. Kate not only grows a culture that teaches dance but also teaches the girls how to be respectful to others. A good example is that I saw four girls trying to help straighten out their sign out front after the bad storms that rolled through a few weeks ago. They weren't asked, they just saw the sign was crooked and took it upon themselves to help out. These are the types of things I see constantly at this studio that gives me hope for our future generations.

We have been with LDC for 9 years and have been extremely happy with the value we get from the studio.This last year was our daughter’s first year on the Competition Team and it has been everything we hoped. All the dancers and families are respectful and supportive. The coaches and choreographers are phenomenal - all costumes and music are age appropriate. They push the girls to learn new skills and polish the fundamentals. While there are required classes at this level, I don’t feel expectations are so high that my daughter can’t enjoy other extracurricular activities.Every staff member at LDC is welcoming, kind, and patient. We are so thankful for such a fantastic community of families and a positive environment to nurture our kids’ love of dance.

We are just completing our 15th, and sadly final, year as a Liberty dance family. The amazing owner, Kate Moody, and her entire staff, have taught my 2 girls so much more than dance. They have cared for them, mentored them, taught them responsibility, respect and leadership.We have been through every level of dance they offer - classes, performing company and competition. I love that we could choose the level of commitment we wanted to make along the way and Liberty had amazing programs to offer at each level. My daughters also had opportunities to give back in support of others by volunteering as Big Sisters with the Darby Dancers program.This is so much more than a dance studio. It is a supportive community. While I’m sad my family will have graduated out of the school age programs this year, I am thankful for the influence Liberty has had on them as beautiful dancers and outstanding young adults. I also know doors are always open to them at Liberty and they will be happy to visit, and maybe even join the adult classes when they can!Thank you Kate Moody and the entire staff at Liberty Dance Center! ❤️💙

Liberty Dance has been great for my daughter! She has been going to Liberty since a young age. I love how they are always checking in with the girls, not only if they are understanding, but also checking in on their mental health too. They are always boosting the confidence of the kids! Over the years the dance studio has grown in size but the relationships are still very personal. Another thing I appreciate as a mom is that the dances they perform are always age appropriate. I have been going to liberty along with my 2 little sisters for over 10 years, all 3 of us love going there. Mrs.Kate the owner and the front desk manager Mrs.Stacy knows everyone's name and welcomes everyone into the studio every single day and it's such a great thing to walk into a studio knowing that you're welcome! My whole family loves coming in at recital or a competition and getting to talk with the teachers, what makes it even more special is even my grandparents talk about how they love to walk into to drop off like a quick dinner for us girls and talking to a teacher and both Mrs.Kate and Mrs.Stacy and saying how polite, respectful, and funny they both are! Every teacher really makes you feel comfortable, appreciated, and feel seen. From all the dance classes you can take from ballet, hip hop, lyrical, jazz,tricks and technique, tap and more they work with the children at every age! There are assistant teachers age ranged from tween-18 to help with 9-12 year old classes and younger, I am one of those assistant teachers and every single assistant wants to help the kids better themselves and help them grow their love for dance and bring it to life and build confidence. My favorite part of being a dancer here is their saying of "never say you can't do something" and truly that has stuck with me in and out of dance. Liberty is truly a special place in our hearts as a family, and I truly coming from a dancer recommend coming here to join the liberty family you won't regret it!! ❤️🤍💙

Liberty is the best dance company, hands down. From the amazing staff, to the clean and welcoming environment (it even smells good when you walk in!) We have loved every aspect! Even on days when my daughter is having a rough day, the staff is amazing with her, and making her feel comfortable finding a way to take a litter breather before joining the class. They are so patient and kind, always welcoming you in with a smile. If you haven't tried it, do it! You won't regret it!

We love Darby's at Liberty! Darby's Big Sisters are AMAZING! It's hard to tell them how much they mean during the in and out hustle on Saturdays but they are most certainly the biggest reason Aubrey continues to love coming to dance. We've been so lucky to see more than a few out in the community too, and every one of them has been just as delightful out in the world as they are on the dance floor.Thanks for training up rockstars!
