American woman owned, quality all around in every way, great food,beds, view,location and fairly priced. I’ve never seen a privately owned motel or owned by anyone motel as nice as this and I have stayed in a lot of them over my life. You cannot go wrong staying here.Only thing to consider is it’s not walking distance to anything but that a plus or minus depending on your travel plans. Less

Great experience staying here with our dog. Rooms are very accessible, have nice decor, nice kitchenette with proper fridge and stove, and it was spacious. Only 6 minutes from the mountain so we kept ours in her travel kennel in the living room and got a few hours on the mountain while she slept. They also have a big dog run in the back. Less

This is the second time my wife and two dogs have come to stay at Berkshire Valley Inn and it is perfect for us! If you're comfortable when your dog is happy and comfortable, this place is *the* place to be. The owner is so friendly with the dogs, has beds for them, has blankets for them, and has a massive fenced in dog run at the top which our dogs beg to take us to daily. The breakfast in the morning is perfect, and the location is great to spend time in Williamstown, North Adams, hike at Mount Greylock, and much more. The rooms and entire location have always been very clean. We'll be back! Less
