Virginia supported myself, my partner and our first baby from third trimester through to post birth as our doula. Her wisdom, skills, education, presence and empowerment helped me feel more confident in my knowledge, decision making, experience and contributed significantly to the choice and control I had from pregnancy to birth and the overall positive experience. Virginia as a doula and Virginia as a person is the epitome of kindness and support. First went to her for a holistic childcare education and as first time parents we were so happy to learn and be educated by Virginia - Virginia also encouraged us to always remember we are in charge for our pregnancy and labour journey. I knew Virginia would be a great doula based on my research and the wealth of information / services she has available. We hired Virginia to be our homebirth doula for our second baby, after a traumatic first birth, and she was AMAZING. Virginia put so much thought and care into all of our appointments and was extremely generous with her time. Working with Virginia has been an absolute gift. I came to her for support for sexual trauma healing - and the wise womban sessions (yoni steam, mizan therapy massage, holistic pelvic care) have been transformative. Virginia even came to my home to perform a grief ritual with the use of my bathtub and it was a very significant experience for me. The flower essences tinctures keep me connected to our work together through sessions and I have learned so much about myself/my womanhood through the space she holds.
