Dr. Maxwell is not your traditional type of doctor functioning and a traditional practice she evaluates each individual patient and prescribes a plan of action that is suitable for their body their own unique situation. My first encounter with Dr. Maxwell, in March or April 2023, was a consultation, advising me of what to expect, followed up by labs another office appointment discussing those labs and a plan of action which taught me not only about insulin resistance, but also how it impacts my body and she then taught me how to eat. I can now identify foods that are best suited for my body within the first year, I lost over 30 pounds, With zero medication. Once I learned how to eat how my body uses fuel the time it needs to process fuel the sensitivity to certain foods. I was then able to move on to other things.Since that time I have lost a total of 86 pounds. Full choices are not restrictive but reasonable she always reminds you of the function of food and different alternatives to create a natural sustainable healthy lifestyle. She has also been able to assist me with my menopause where my primary care physician said to say, provided no assistance at All. Dr. Maxwell is a comprehensive physician practicing medicine in a capacity that is specific to each patient and not in a hurried manner.
