Top notch bar, top notch team. Max handled our very last-minute requests with patience and grace — only for us to later find out the crew was down a person all night. Yet every staff member still brought professionalism, humour, and genuinely great energy.The food and drinks continue to be highly memorable. From prawn sando to cured wagyu, melt in your mouth eggplant to parfait with a kick - every dish and cocktail hit. Not to mention $2 oysters! Four visits in and the quality never slips, and yet, the crew’s hospitality still managed to steal the show.

We had a delightful experience at Eau-de-Vie tonight. We were celebrating a birthday and were presented with complimentary taster cocktails shortly after sitting down. The service was excellent. We were looked after by Max and when I was disappointed with my dessert choice of tiramisu, which was lovely, it just didn’t compare to the white chocolate and caramel cheesecake, and had food envy over my partner’s dessert, Max took mine away and replaced it with my preferred choice, not charging me for the tiramisu. The description in the menu of the cheesecake completely undersold it. It was an outstanding 10/10 culinary experience.The cocktails were vibrant and flavourful and the descriptions entertaining.They have hooks where you sit at the bar to hang your bag/coat which I loved.Overall it was thoroughly enjoyable and we look forward to going back.

Popped in for some cocktails during our last night in Sydney.Had a great time exploring the extensive cocktail menu, helpfully guided by the waiter from New Zealand.Really moody, dimly lit atmosphere, which I love.

Wow, it felt like entering another era in another country. Friends arranged to meet here before dinner. Seriously impressed with the decor, the staff are outstanding and the cocktail list was endless. I started with the Espresso Zabaione and it was served as a theatrical experience and absolutely delicious. We didn't order any food but the menu looked enticing. We had time for a second round, still and sparkling water is complimentary. There is also a separate room for small functions. I will return to sample some food and to try more cocktails. There were 8 of us and it was no drama to pay individually because how many people can or really want to shout two rounds of drinks.

Cant wait to be back. Just enough lighting, just enough sound level, amazing staff in service and jolly vibes. They also checked in with us just enough times and not over the top and also kept us in the loop when the bar orders were getting a bit delayed. The EdV team were wonderful. We went as a special treat to finish off the night for a significant birthday. We booked for 8 and turned up with 16!! They were so accommodating, gracious, incredible service and the theatre of it all is world class. Congrats team EdV.
