I had a siding project that took just a couple weeks, and it looks amazing.Aren was my direct contact, and I felt in great hands through the entirety of the project. But not only was his communication great, his team was also phenomenal. I had great communication from the office ladies, Carissa and Angela. These two made me feel part of the company when I had questions. Then onto the crew, Matt and Sigo. These 2 guys made my house look brand new. I recently hired RTB Exteriors to replace my back patio interior and exterior door, and I honestly could not be happier with the entire experience.I had a very difficult time finding the exact product I was looking for with the quality, features, and appearance I had in mind. One of my biggest concerns was finding a door with a built-in doggy door so I would not have to cut into the door myself and potentially compromise the manufacturer’s warranty. I met Aren at their office, where we reviewed different colors, styles, and prototypes. He even showed me renderings of what my back door would look like on his computer, which made the selection process so much easier. We were also able to customize and select the exact size for the doggy door before placing the order.Within just a couple of weeks, Aren contacted me to let me know the doors had arrived at their warehouse, and the installation was scheduled for the following week. On installation day, Jesse, the foreman, arrived with the crew right on time. They removed the old doors and installed the new ones, including all trim and casing work, within just a few hours.What really impressed me was the attention to detail and customer service. Jesse took the time to explain all the features and functions of the door system. Aren and his team went above and beyond when replacing our siding, windows, and the other hail damaged elements of my home. This revision acknowledges not just the initial service experience but also the constructive follow-up and the company's commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.Prior review: We engaged RTB Exteriors for the replacement of four windows in our residence. The project encountered numerous obstacles and, unexpectedly, spanned over a year to reach completion, despite the straightforward nature of the installation.Initially, there were complications with the order process, resulting in the windows being incorrectly ordered on two occasions. Additionally, during the installation process, we observed damage to the trim and siding of our house, an issue that was not communicated to us by RTB at the time it occurred.We were also invoiced for painting around the newly installed windows, a service that was unfortunately not carried out. Despite this, on three occasions, requests were made for us to settle the payment as if the project had been fully completed, which included the unperformed paintwork. This led us to secure a separate contractor to finalize the repairs and painting, which RTB was unable to complete as initially agreed upon.In conclusion, while the installation of the windows themselves is satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by a noticeable lack of commitment to quality, issues with transparency regarding the project's progress and scope of work, and inconsistencies in order management and execution. These factors have led us to find RTB Exteriors challenging to work with and have raised concerns regarding their reliability as a contractor.
