Totally positive experience. Our job was 2 rooms of carpet, carpeted stairs, and 2 areas with luxury vinyl plank flooring. The staff in the showroom, the estimator and the installer were all helpful, professional and on time. The job required a lot more floor prep that we'd thought, but they kept to the original estimate even though extra time and materials were needed. During the installation I pointed out a couple things that didn't seem quite right, and the company and the installer took care of them without question. Their price was the lowest of the bids I received. I suspect this is partly because their showroom isn't in one of the expensive commercial districts, but rather in a warehouse near the Coliseum. Good job!

Bay Area Contract Carpets did a wonderful job for us, from the initial estimate to the first repair attempt (our problem got in the way) to the final, successful installation. The job was relatively small but ended up being somewhat complicated. We needed the flooring beneath our toilet replaced to re-anchor our toilet. When BACC got there and pulled up the flooring, they realized the subfloor was damaged and needed to be replaced before they started their work. I was able, thanks to a couple of other good tradesmen, to get the subfloor replaced by the next day, at which point BACC's guys showed up and completed the work so that our plumber could finish the toilet installation. BACC's flexibility and attentive professionalism turned a job riddled with complications into a pretty uncomplicated thing. When we redo our floors downstairs, they will be our first call.

We purchased carpeting from this company under different ownership twenty years ago and were delighted that it lasted so long. I couldn't be happier with the product and service I received from Bay Area Contract Carpets this time too. They still had our measurements on file! Once Ken had an idea of what I was looking for, he provided me with an excellent selection, let me take samples home and gave me a quote on the carpet I chose that was reasonable. The installers were prompt, worked diligently, and left everything clean and tidy. Couldn't be happier.

John and Ken were extremely helpful, easy to work with, and nice guys. They were able to give us a much better deal than the alternatives using carpet that they had in stock, and meet our quick turn-around and short-time window installation needs (during two days when we didn't have classes running). Best of all, their contractors did a great job on the installation and everything looks fantastic. I'd highly recommend them if you need carpets for your home or business.
