I kept a parking spot with Dexter Self Storage from 2018-2025, and also a storage locker in 2022-2023. The prices are very reasonable as self-storage goes. The site is safe and easily accessible from right off the freeway. Most importantly, the staff has always been very professional and thankful for their customers. I recall when I got a call from them to let me know my RV had a flat tire, something they didn't really have to do but I'm glad they did. Grounds are well-maintained, though be aware that the lot is effectively out amongst the farms and fields of the area, critters be damned. I'm happy to recommend DSS - now Essential Storage - to all who ask.

I had a problem with my lock, I called them. A wonderful woman answered the phone, it was Nancy. She was so sweet, and helped me through my whole problem. This place was excellent. Units are large, but they have smaller ones and the price is reasonable. Good service. Easy to get in and out.

For roughly 1 year, I stored all of my furniture and boxes for a 1bed apt here.Of course, all uncovered items had a nice layer of dust and cobwebs; however, otherwise everything was in great condition.I would be happy to use Chelsea Self Storage again if I ever had the need.
