My Vehicle was picked up from Jeff Wyler by UAE on July 29thCustom Interior Ordered on 29th, expected delivery by Wednesday, August 3rdTuesday, August 2nd...Error in production (which allowed me to order different color, as well as Degreez system), but pushed out delivery to August 8thMonday, August 8th: Was told by representative (I still have text) that my vehicle would be available for pickup at 4PM at Jeff Wyler. I drive 45 minutes one way to pickup, and call UAE at 4:30....told there had been an error with the degreez install, and that they would have to order another part. Then told my vehicle would be available on Tuesday,. August 9th. I paid roughly $2000 for Degreez and Tek Stitching at this point. (dealer paid $2000 for leather as part of sales negotiation).Tuesday, August 9th: Was contacted by installation manager, and told that a hole had mistakenly been drilled into one of the airbag sensors, and that they were overnighting the delivery, so that I could pickup on Wednesday, August 10thWednesday, August 10th: I was told that the owner would be reaching out about discount i requested for my trouble, but this never did occur, until I called in myself. I picked up the vehicle on this day (2 weeks after pickup). I called about my discount and Steven from installation offered me $200, which I thought was light for all the difficulty, but was trying to be agreeable.Thursday, August 11th: I called Steven back after noticing that much of the leather interior was/is not tight, but ruffled in several places, and super buoyant (sorry, cant think of a better word to describe)...basically its not tight in several locations (pictures from first day below...followed by pictures 2 days ago). Steven told me to give it a few weeks and that it would be corrected. He told me that if it didn't look right at that point, he would redo the entire interior. I've also noticed that some parts are not stitched correctly....the intake vents on the back of the seats continue to "fall out" of the leather, and have to be pushed back in. On top of that, some of the seating was not sewn, so there are just flaps of fabric hanging to the right of the drivers seat cushion. Finally, the ventilation works sporadically, even after 20 or so minutes of driving the vehicle. Sometimes it cools in the back part of the seat, but often it doesn't...and there is no difference between leverl 3 and level 1.While I appreciate the offer to redo, it is now several weeks later, and I do not want to have to go through the entire process again...I would like to ask for the remainder of the amount i paid (dealer paid $2000 for leather, and I paid roughly $2000 for degreez and tek stitch) to be refunded to me. I completely believe that my experience is not indicitave of UAE as a whole, I've read and talked to people who had great experiences...but mine just wasn't.Again, the people I worked with were wonderful, but the project and process just aren't satisfactory. This is the first long email like this I've ever written, and I almost never ask for refunds....but I believe the above warrants such...but UAE refuses. To their credit, they do offer to fix the problem...but the owner still will not reply, and the manager refuses any refund.
