Excellent work, great pricing, and great people. We have a project house from the 60's, and a collapsing retaining wall with the ancient drainage beneath had been on my to-do list for a while. I reached out to a few companies because I knew I didn't have the time needed to tackle it on my own, and Homeward was a very reasonable amount over the raw material costs alone. Other companies seemed to want to do the entire house, which wasn't in my budget. The end result is fantastic, the guys were very flexible with what I wanted, and there's no doubt that what they did in a few days would have taken me weeks. My one note is that I should have been more clear with the site and what I wanted up front in drawing/ text. Joey did some of this to help, but I noticed later that some of the details I thought we had noted weren't actually in there. We were presented a couple of solution options and discussed them in great detail. Once we selected a path the project started. Pricing was transparent and clear as expected. The team was professional, polite, and punctual. We used Homeward Environmental for a sump pump reroute and storm sewer tap and they had the most cost effective and least damaging proposal of all contractors that bid for the work (4 total bids). They have a well developed relationship with city inspectors and helped me navigate the permit process which was really nice. We have had water drainage issues for as long as we have lived in our home. It would pool in one corner so much that the area had turned almost swamp like. We had others attempt to rectify the situation but it never lasted long. Had an egress window installed. The entire process took just around two days to complete, start to finish (would have taken less if I didn’t ask so many questions).
