The lamb stew was really good. The mash potatoes in the stew were a little bit too salty. The duck was good and the sauce was excellent. The goat salad is really good for people that loves raw red onions and roquette.The service was really fast and there was a live signer. The sound was not too loud not too low.Thank you so much for the experience. As a tourist, i felt welcomed and treated as a local.

Walked in and got a table early in the evening. Perfect table to watch The Open and have a pint of Rockshore. Orders the seafood chowder, Irish stew and fish & chips. Food was very good and one of the best Irish lamb stews I had. The fish & chips were very good as well. A nice size piece of fish. The chowder was right up there as one of the bests imho. Forgot to get photos of the last two items. Highly recommend but it’s off the busy Shop street area and around the corner from Eyre Square. Roisin took care of us and we enjoyed our meal at Murty’s.

Honestly, best food in town. The warmest place in Galway for me. The owners, the staff, the incredible beergarden. Great Guinness!!! Watching a football match outside in the beergarden is my favorite thing to do on any given night. It's giving home vibes. Fav pub in Galway without a doubt.
