We had our conservatory roof done at the end of March 2026 and wanted to give it some use before posting a review.The team that worked on the roof were brilliant, they worked so hard on it every day that they were here, even on the Wednesday of that week when we had 4 seasons of wether in 1 day - rain, hail, sleet, snow and strong winds gusting at nearly 50mph!They were troopers and worked as much through it as they could until it got too dangerous for them to work anymore, when thy let me know they were leaving and the reasons why, I agreed with them that they should get off. All the cups of tea I made them couldn’t warm them up that day!They came back early the next couple of days to ensure they completed the work on time, which they did!Everyone else who came to work on it in the week were brilliant too, including the plasterers and the electrician, everything was explained what was going to happen.No question was too daft and they were happy to answer any queries and they also kept me updated throughout the whole job so I knew what to expect.Now this was the real test - the actual conservatory itself was the usual too cold in winter and boiling in summer, which is standard for most conservatories.It’s now a lovely room that we’ve found ourselves using every single day, and the skylights make such a difference too, we have zero regrets having them fitted as they let light in on duller days. We can also open them when it gets hot in there (it still gets toasty but not unbearable) and they do the trick.We’ve not experienced a winter yet, but on chilly evenings we put our electric fire on and within 10 minutes it’s lovely and warm, where before we would have to pre-heat the room for a good hour to take the edge off.The only regret I have with this roof is not having it done sooner!If you’re wondering if you should get this done, I’d say 100% it will be one of the best decisions you’ll make.Gary knows his stuff and is really knowledgeable, he called and checked in with me in the week to make sure everything was going ok, when he came to quote us there were no hard sales, just an honest approach.Thank you Gary and team for making our conservatory a lovely room we can use a lot more now!We have added before and pic and after pics too

We can highly recommend Gary and his team. We sought a few quotes before deciding on a contractor for our conservatory warm roof. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, we felt most comfortable with Gary’s approach and appointed Draycote Windows to do the work. We were not disappointed. Gary has a terrific team of installers, you could not wish to meet a more polite, friendly crew who worked in a tidy and very courteous way, nothing was too much trouble to them, and the work was carried out to a high standard. The work was completed in time for there to be quite a few hot sunny days left of Summer, so we could tell that the roof had made the conservatory much more pleasant a temperature. Now that we are in Autumn and have had cooler days, we can already tell the conservatory keeps warmth much better.In summary, very pleased we opted for a conservatory warm roof and that we appointed Gary and Draycote Windows as the contractor.

We recently had our conservatory roof converted to a warm insulated roof by Draycote Windows, and we’re absolutely over the moon with it. It’s made a huge difference—nice and cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and just a much more usable space overall.Gary and his team—Dave, Aidan, and Nathan—were brilliant from start to finish. After searching for conservatory insulation through facebook I was truthfully sceptical sourcing a trade through this channel. There was no need to have doubted or have concerns whatsoever. The biggest test of a trader is how they respond when a job throws up challenges. Gary absolutely went the extra mile (and some) to resolve some pretty serious issues that our house threw at us during our project. We felt completely supported despite the issues being not of his making. Gaz gave us a quote at the end of January to convert a large, 35 year old conservatory into a garden room and finished the job at the end of March 2025. He and his team were great from the start.
