A couple hours later I had free time in between clients and thought why not and walked over. I was instantly greeted with smiles and welcoming eyes. I filled out a form of outlining the issues I was having. I was having severe neck and shoulder pain, lower back and hip pain which affected my everyday happiness and most of all sleep. I thought this was just how I was going to be forever bc I work out and do yoga normally and nothing seemed to help. And I had seen chiropractors before. The ten minute massage was just a teaser bc the masseuse had magic hands! I spoke the the chiropractor that was there and he offered me a full evaluation (valued at 400+) dollars for $20!!! Now normally I would think this was some sort of scam immediately but I went and had the evaluation and got my results and talked extensively with Dr. Wong and Alyssa about my lifestyle, family history, and my own medical history to determine why all this pain was happening and what the solution would be. Dr. Wong set me up on a four month treatment plan and it’s about a month in and I already feel relief. He warned me there are good days and bad days but the good have definitely outweighed the bad so I feel hopeful. Dr. Wong is the only doctor listed on their website and the only doctor mentioned in the office so I was confused. His name was Dr. Heeder. He weighed me and did some x-rays then charged me $69 and sent me home. I return the next day for my second visit. Dr. Wong saw me and told me the results of their findings. He handed me a contract for 4 months of treatment for $2,815. No option to pay per adjustment...you have to sign the contract and pay that amount either all at once or through a payment plan. I expressed that I was not interested in signing a contract until I was treated and adjusted first so I could see if I wanted to continue with treatment or not. He began his hard sell to convince me that it is a long term process and that I need to be committed in order to solve my back pain problems. I asked if I could just be adjusted and then I would think about it and let him know. He was not happy with this response. He wanted me to sign the contract before he treated me. He told me my problems would need more than one visit. I said that I understand however I'm not committing to $2,800 treatment plan without even seeing if I like the service. That is when he told me he would only do a one time adjustment if I paid an additional $75. I told him that was not what I was told on the phone and he again said that was the only way he would treat me that day. So I left the office having received no treatment whatsoever after two visits and paid $69 to receive a bunch of useless information and a sales pitch. I drove straight to The Joint down the street on Rosecrans and was adjusted within minutes by a great Doctor and only paid $29. Save your time and avoid this place. Going to the chiropractor is really good! If you have tried everything under the sun to lose weight and can't, call Dr. Wong. I have been on his weight loss program for 12 days and have lost 14.6 lbs.
