I have been going to The Raven since I moved to Portland a few years ago and Dave has been my stylist. The atmosphere at their new location is serene and the service accommodating. I have long thick hair and Dave always gives my hair adequate attention. He's great at making decisions about the shape and length of my cut. I am extremely happy with my experience at The Raven, especially since they always have dark chocolates and wine to keep me content while I wait before an appointment.

I had such a great experience with Connor at The Raven Salon. I have very fine dark hair. I wanted more volume and some lighter dimension in my hair so it wouldn’t feel as flat. Connor asked lots of questions to make sure he knew what I wanted, and we worked together to pick a color that would work best for my complexion. I am so happy with how it turned out- it looks natural and the cut provided me with some shape/volume without sacrificing my length. Thank you, Connor!

I recently moved to Maine and was looking for a stylist who works with short hair. I searched far and wide and saw a lot of stylists only showing pictures of clients with long hair. Angela has a very cute, short haircut which is why I chose her. Not only does Angela give a great short haircut, but her color with highlights is natural and beautiful. Angela is very friendly, easy to talk to, and I really enjoy my time sitting in her chair! I also get lots of compliments on my cut and color. I am thrilled to have found Angela and The Raven Salon!

Ryn is an amazing stylist! She does vivid colors that will get compliments for months and is always up for a new creative idea. I've gone from purple, to blue, to red, and each look is beyond the vision I hoped for. Cuts and styles are also always great and she works with my wavy hair to bring out the curls. The salon is clean, welcoming, and makes booking appointments super easy.

With little notice I needed a stylist asap. I did. consult with Connor and then he booked me in for a service within 3 days. So grateful! He was thorough, a great communicator, professional, fun to be with and it is clear he takes his craft of being a stylist very seriously. Connor was lovely! I immediately felt comfortable with him - he worked efficiently but was thorough throughout the entire process. I really appreciated his attention to detail and frequently checking up with me throughout the appt to ensure that I was comfortable and that we were on the same page. He is perfect if you like a lived in blonde look! I will absolutely be back!!!
