My experience with Sheila was nothing short than amazing. From the beginning of my medication journey to ending, she always listened to my concerns. I’ve been on a countless amount of medication over the years with seeing a lot of psychiatrist and every time I wanted a change in dose or wanted to end medication, they made a big deal. I’ve been sent to hospitals for refusing treatment even though I was safe and lectured about my decisions. Sheila always made sure I was safe but listened and adjusted to my concerns. She never made me feel like she was a physiatrist just collecting my insurance. Even though I have ended medication and don’t need to see her, she still made sure to let me know she’s a phone call away if things ever came up. If you are scared to open up to a psychiatrist about your concerns, let that at the door because you don’t need to worry about that with Sheila. Allow yourself help because you are safe with her!

Great experience overall. Dr. Sheila is authentic and down to earth and genuinely cares about your well being. I’ve struggled in the past with offices not even returning my call and her and her staff make high efforts to communicate with you about anything and everything. i felt like i could speak up and release very personal issues that took years to talk out loud about and she kept it neutral and comforting. I appreciate the honesty she provided and shows she is a real person. Highly recommend if you struggle with mental health in any way!!!!

I’ve been seeing Sheila about a year ago and she has truly changed my life. After my first appointment with her, I realized JUST how poor my previous psychiatrists care was. I learned more in my first session with her than I did in the two years I was with my previous psychiatrist. She is warm and welcoming and it was so easy to open up to her. She’s of course helpful with med management but, unlike my previous psychiatrist, she wants to know and understand YOU as a person. You’re not just a time slot to Sheila. She will ask questions similarly to my therapist because she truly wants to understand you overall. I am sure to recommend her to anyone in my life seeking psychiatric care. If you are hesitant/scared to start working with a psychiatrist, Sheila is a great choice! I promise you won’t regret it! I’m so thankful to have found her!

Dr. Sheila was kind during my visits. Unfortunately, the office’s billing practices and front desk communication significantly undermined the experience. I scheduled a full assessment with multiple back-to-back appointments to complete it within one month. Just four days after my initial bill was generated, I was told my upcoming appointments would be cancelled unless I immediately paid a $574 balance.I was mid-assessment and had not yet received results. I explained that I intended to pay the balance by the end of the month, but no flexibility was offered. During the phone call, the front desk representative was argumentative and repeatedly interrupted me, which made an already stressful situation worse. I also requested a call back from Dr. Sheila and did not receive one. It’s been well over a week. They stated she will call when she has the time.Cancelling ongoing mental health appointments over a balance that was only 4 days old — without clear upfront communication that this would occur — felt abrupt and impersonal. When someone seeks mental health care, continuity and communication matter. Prioritizing immediate payment over follow-through and patient support left a lasting negative impression.

I love Dr Sheila and her staff. Every time her and I talk, she brings me back to reality by telling me the truth, And it doesn’t help that we are laughing. My first visit she was asking me questions that other therapist had not asked. Dr Sheila has been a great help to me and really care about my wellbeing. I look forward to our calls. The staff are always pleasant and professional.

Really like all great reviews. Nervous but will sign up. Been going to same dr for years with no help on my issues. Need more options and choices without feeling more weird. Shouldn't be on 3 blood pressure pills for it .and Celexa all for anxiety. Might see about self pay . Don't think my insurance is covered

I’ve had a lovely experience with Dr. Sheila! She is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the experiences I’ve had in the past. You can tell that she genuinely cares and loves her job. I highly recommend her to anyone either just starting out or if your just not sure about your current provider.
