Short Review: If you are in need of a psychiatrist I highly recommend Shelia at Augustin Psychiatric. I only trust her with my mental health. Long review: Hi, I’m a 39yr old Bipolar/ADHD woman, I would like to take the time to share my amazing experience with Shelia at Augustin Psychiatric. When i first started seeing Shelia, I was in the middle of an episode. I had the diagnosis of bipolar with adhd from previous providers (2 psychiatrists and former therapist) although I never had any form of testing. The first thing I did with Shelia was testing to have a better diagnosis. It also gave me a better understanding of how my brain works! Next it was time to work on my medication. I told Shelia about the poor experiences with other providers and have trust issues I have with doctors. She was very comforting and reassuring that she handles things differently than what I experienced before. And my experience has been great! She has changed my medication slowly, which, for me, is very important. First we treated the bipolar moods, only adjusting 1 medication at a time so we knew exactly what that medication was or was not helping me with. And now I am appropriately medicated and not just sedated. Shelia’s bed side manners are great, she listens to everything you tell her and it is all incorporated into your treatment. For me as a woman, my menstrual cycle and patterns are also factored in. She explains things throughly and nicely (not condescending). And her receptionist is super sweet. They are very well organized, and overall great people. Less

Sheila is kind, attentive, funny, very professional and knowledgeable. I am so glad I found this practice & would recommend it to anyone!
