Great, great, great day on e-bikes on the carriage trails of Acadia! The morning pickup at Hulls Cove was very simple and we were on our way.The big plus is they have fat tire bikes while all the others do not. Great for flying down all the gravel trails. Spent a solid 6 hours biking and the battery power barely dropped a notch. They provided laminated maps, emergency contact info and a simple pick up/ drop off process. 10/10, do it again.

The bikes were in great condition, well maintained, and fully charged. Communication was excellent, and they gave us a helpful tip to bring gloves since it gets cold riding up the mountains. Picking up the bikes at the park was convenient, with plenty of affordable parking nearby.We rented for the second half of the day and appreciated the generous return window. We rode about 25 miles, and the e-bikes’ range let us see far more of Acadia than we could have otherwise. We only wish we’d booked a full day—half a day felt too short. We highly recommend Royal E-Bike Acadia to anyone visiting the park!

Easy online rental and waiver process. We found their website at 7 p.m. and booked for 9 a.m. the next morning! They provided all the gear we needed (helmet, lock, bike bag) and even switched out the seat for this 5' 3" rider! The Lectric fat tire bikes were perfect for cruising the carriage roads at Acadia National Park - best way to see the interior of the park!

DO THIS on your trip to the park!My wife and I had an absolutely incredible experience renting step-through mountain e-bikes for a '24 hour session' while exploring Acadia National Park!We covered nearly 25 miles in one day, cruising the beautiful carriage roads, exploring downtown Bar Harbor, visiting Jordan Pond House, and even riding our e-bikes to the top of Cadillac Mountain for sunrise! Easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Maine.The entire rental experience was seamless from start to finish. Communication was excellent, the Acadia Royal E-Bikes team was friendly and accommodating, and the flexibility was fantastic. Our rented bikes were dropped off at our lodging, and we picked up again at our lodging the following afternoon, giving us a full 24 hours to explore at our own pace. The convenient delivery and pickup on Mount Desert Island made everything completely hassle-free.The bikes performed flawlessly! Our bikes were comfortable, easy to ride, and handled everything from the carriage roads to the climb up Cadillac Mountain with ease. Having chargers and locks included was greatly appreciated.What stood out most was the outstanding customer service, flexibility, and attention to detail. Great new bikes with fat tires. As first time ebike riders the tutorial was appreciated. Nice guys! We were able to see all of the carriage roads inside of Acadia comfortably and the batteries lasted all day. Definitely recommend this company.

Riding e-bikes on the Carriage Roads was one of the top highlights of our trip to ANP and Acadia Royal had the best bikes out there to make this day possible. Being able to pick up and drop off directly in the park was very convenient and the service provided was top notch!

This is the second time my wife and I rented E-Bikes at a national park. Acadia staff were VERY customer oriented and thoroughly explained how to operate the bikes. Mine had trouble within the first mile and the young man who had introduced us to the operation rode a replacement bike to me immediately. I give them a 10 on a 1-10 scale.

We enjoyed our first time on e-bikes. After a safety check, we practiced riding around the parking lot with the “assists”. Off we went exploring the carriage trails. Easy to ride. Lots of fun. Cheaper than their competitors for the exact same experience. A wonderful way to explore the beauty of Acadia. Don’t miss this experience!

We had a good experience with Acadia Royal E-bikes. Having not had a great deal of experience with e-bikes, we were grateful for the very thorough explanation on their operation. They provided everything we needed: bike and bike lock, storage area behind the seat, map of the carriage roads, and even a bottle of water to take with us. After being instructed on how to use the bikes, we were able to try them out and then ask questions on anything we weren't comfortable with. We were directed to our starting point and also advised on a suggested route. Their rates were also a little less expensive than other companies we checked into, but all the equipment was high quality.

Absolutely perfect for the carriage roads! The tires are wide for ease on the pebble paths. The bikes themselves were easy to use with a TON of power. We actually had multiple people who were on rented e-bikes stop to ask us what rental shop we used because ours were so nice and clearly had much more power than theirs. My only critique would be that the directions on where to meet to pick up the bikes at the ball field and then getting to the carriage roads weren’t the most clear. However, we managed it all and have nothing but glowing reviews!
