I came to Mark because I was having issues with my shoulder and saw an advertisement on facebook saying that he can help. While I was skeptical due to previous experiences with physical therapy, I gave it a shot because I was getting desperate for relief. I was having problems sleeping because I couldn’t even lie down flat in my bed because of pain. To my surprise, Mark’s method was different. It was targeted and his methods were systematic. He didn’t just do a few checks and guide me through exercises for with weights and bands. Instead, through various mobility tests while pinpointing pain and seeing if we could get the pain to move through specific movement. Through this process, he was able to find the root cause of my pain and he developed a treatment plan. It turns out I didn’t have muscle pain in my shoulder, but nerve pain radiating from my neck. He then had me do some simple exercises albeit a little odd that gave me relief during my first session. Over the next couple weeks, my shoulder was completely better and we moved to getting mobility back in my neck and shoulders. I’m on week 5 and now have no pain, increased mobility, and my muscles in my neck and shoulder are finally relaxed. Mark is amazing and I recommend him to anyone suffering from pain. After a fusion of C3-C5 and adjacent disc degeneration, I've had years of traditional physical therapy that hasn't helped much. Couldn’t be happier. I dealt with debilitating pain in my neck and shoulder. After a CT scan they discovered a slipped disc in my neck and referred me to a proffered provider through insurance and honestly, it was a waste of time.
