My Trane A/C stopped cooling in the middle of a 100 degree heat wave this summer. I researched and found BL James & Son who had great reviews. The tech came out and made the determination that the compressor was bad and he recommended we get a whole new HVAC system. My current system is less than 10 years old. I am not sure if it was just complete incompetence or total dishonesty, but this advice would have been an $18,000 mistake. I contacted a different HVAC company who was able to get my A/C back running properly and it only cost $50. The BL James & Son tech even stated in his report that he checked the $50 part that was eventually replaced. Very disappointed with this company! Less
