Heather in the office made sure our stay was enjoyable. The grounds were well kept. There were so many options for the wedding party to enjoy while getting ready. The setting for the wedding was amazing. The decorations inside and out were outstanding. We really want to thank all the staff especially Heather for helping in my making my nephews special day really special.

We hosted our annual corporate retreat at Rest Yourself Ranch for the second time this January, and once again, it was absolutely amazing. The property is stunning, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and seclusion, making it an ideal getaway. The staff is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. The food is delicious, the accommodations are top-notch, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and rejuvenating. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service, this is it. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Our stay at Rest Yourself River Ranch was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the property. Whether it was the peaceful river, open fields, or stunning sunsets, every part of the ranch felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.One of the biggest highlights for our family was the endless activities for the kids. Between the outdoor games, hiking trails, and wide-open spaces to explore, our little ones were entertained from morning until night. We were amazed that they went days without even asking for their electronics—a true testament to how much fun they were having!The game room was another major hit. It had something for everyone, from our 5-year-old to the adults in our group. Whether it was arcade games, board games, or just a space to relax and unwind, it became a favorite gathering spot for all of us.Evenings were magical thanks to the fire pit, where we gathered every night to make s’mores, tell stories, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was such a special way to wind down after a full day of adventure.One unexpected bonus was having The Mineral Wells Fossil Park just around the corner. The kids had an absolute blast searching for fossils and learning about the history of the area—it was both fun and educational!We also loved how close the ranch was to downtown Mineral Wells. During our visit, we stopped by the Crazy Water Company to sample the famous mineral water, and we spent an afternoon at a DIY art studio, where the kids had a great time painting ceramics.Overall, Rest Yourself River Ranch was the perfect getaway for our family. It provided the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and quality time together. We can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful resort. We rented out around half the property for a corporate retreat. Bridget and Lori were wonderful to work with. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The food was amazing and a team assisted us at every meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). We upgraded to add the deserts and beverage package. Worth it 100%. My team loved the property. Some hiked, fished, played lawn games, star gazed at night... There was a fire ban so the resort pulled out a box of flash lights so we could all sit around the firepit at night and have some light. Everyone is still talking about the great time they had. I'm looking forward to taking a team there in late spring of 2025.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Rest Yourself Ranch and we had a phenomenal time! The views were awesome, the sunsets majestic, and you can actually see the stars at night! Coming from the city that is a rare thing. The entire property is steeped in history and the management enthusiastically talked to us about all the neat and historic people who has stayed there. The rooms have an old school rustic charm and the water pressure was excellent! Look into their suites as those rooms were exceptionally neat with someone windows and cool views. Overall we had a great time, the food was great and the staff amazing! If your looking for somewhere out of the way but close enough to go into town this is it!

My son and his bride had a wonderful wedding here last weekend. (9/20/24). The staff were wonderful to deal with through out the entire process of planning, and putting on this wedding. The caterer's they recommended were awesome. The facilities were great.This is a Rustic Western Destination for sure.. Which was perfect for my son and his wife. (they are outside people, and wanted a outdoor, rustic style wedding. PERFECT..!!)The whole family (and new extended family), stayed on the grounds for 2 to 3 nights, and everyone had great accommodations. And.. if we needed anything, staff was always around, or - Mineral Wells was literally down the road, less than 5 minutes away.Which by the way - if you come to River Ranch, check out Mineral Wells - cool little city, that apparently has had a huge turn around from what Mineral Wells was 5 years ago.So as a recap: If you want a Rustic, Western Style venue - with great modern accommodations, cool western style rooms, western style halls, all with fast internet connections, etc.. I recommend this place. (If you need to be constantly catered and pampered, hate being outside, and cost is not an issue - try the Gaylord..)HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- "Rest Yourself River Ranch"!!

We love Rest Yourself River Ranch!! We have used it for parties as well as an offsite location for larger meetings and team building. The location is amazing and the views can’t be beat! The staff is very friendly and always helpful!

Uniquely amazing and classy! A perfect venue for just about any occasion. We had a blast having an 1800s era masquerade ball with a murder mystery dinner. The view is absolutely breathtaking, especially on an early winter morning when the dew is gently glistening on the leaves and grass. Rooms are all unique and stand apart from one another. The suites are big and beautiful. Comforters and linens are very clean and crisp. The Great Lodge is generously spacious and holds 75+ people easily, and there is still plenty of dance floor space. It wasa pleasure talking to everyone from the grounds keeper to the event coordinator, Melinda was very accommodating to various requests and always went up and beyond to reply to calls and emails in a timely manner. If it wasn't for her being so amazing, the whole experience at Rest Yourself River Ranch wouldn't have been as wonderful as it is. It was such a pleasure.

Our wedding at Rest Yourself River Ranch could not have been more perfect. Melinda was always available to answer questions and give advice throughout the planning process. The team really knows how to handle the chaos that can come with weddings and we appreciate them so much! From the moment we viewed the property we knew it had everything we could have dreamed of to fit the mood we wanted for our outdoor wedding. While the size of the property requires a bit more planning logistically, you don't need nearly as much decor as the natural beauty of the place shines on its own. We loved that guests can stay on-site and overnight for the entire event. We had a small-ish wedding (50 guests) and everyone had to travel at least 1.5 hours. Everyone kept asking why Minerals Wells, this town most of them hadn’t heard of before, but from the moment everyone arrived they instantly understood. Overwhelmingly our guests had an amazing time and felt that it was worth the drive to experience the beauty of this place! It truly is special and peaceful, such a great way to commune with nature and relax. The beds are also insanely comfortable; everyone raved about the rooms.
