When our sweet Momma was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and was nearing the end of life, we wanted her home, with family until her last breath. Towards the last several weeks, her care required more support and expertise than we could provide ourselves. We called Excell and they immediately sent Marissa Lester to help us with our Mom. We had many wonderful caregivers from Excel, all professional and experienced. However; our Marissa was truly exceptional in many, many ways. My mother bonded with Marissa instantly, as did our entire family. She guided us through the hardest time of our lives and took EXCEPTIONAL care of our mother. She helped show our family how to better care for her and we were so very grateful. My mother in her final weeks said she wanted Marissa for as many hours she could possibly spend with us, because Marissa brought her comfort. 🥺. Its difficult to express how much her presence impacted our lives and helpedmake my Mothers transition peaceful, calm and painless. We will never forget Marissa’s kindness and expertise. I wish everyone could have Marissa when their time comes, she helped make a sad, difficult experience one of love, laughter and peace.❤️
