Dr Chaves and his staff are exceptional. I have been a patient for ten years. I had to take care of some family issues outside of California and missed several appointments and consequently my teeth needed care. At no point did any of the hygienists or Dr Chaves make me feel like I was negligent, but instead just focused on getting me back on track. Dr Chaves is so experienced and kind and surrounds himself with a great team. Absolutely exceptional!

This was the best experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist in my entire life.I am 59 years old and I have struggled with my teeth and gums for as long as I can remember, so dental visits have not always been the easiest experience for me. Irene was completely different from any hygienist I have ever seen.I had a very extensive scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) procedure. It is typically done in two separate appointments, but I chose to do the entire thing in one visit, which ended up being about four hours. Thankfully nitrous was included because of the length of the appointment, which made the entire experience much more comfortable.Irene was incredibly gentle, kind, and thoughtful the entire time. She checked in with me throughout the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. For such a long and intensive treatment, I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared about setting me up for success going forward. She did not just clean my teeth and send me out the door. She walked me through a very specific routine I can follow at home. She showed me where I personally get the most buildup, how to focus on the inside bottom teeth first when brushing, and how to work my way through my mouth more effectively.She also recommended tools and products that are already helping me, including a specific Waterpik attachment and MI Paste Plus. For the first time, I actually feel like I have a clear morning and evening routine that will help me stay on top of my dental health.I honestly never thought I would be writing a glowing review about a dental office or a hygienist, but Irene absolutely deserves it. I left feeling encouraged instead of discouraged, and that means a lot when you have dealt with lifelong dental challenges.I am incredibly grateful for her care, patience, and expertise.

I've been seeing Dr. Chaves for about 15 years and all I have to say is... he's the best. I have complete confidence in him, and I don't give that easily. He's very intelligent and multi-talented (even has a mechanical engineering degree) and always takes the time to explain options clearly and thoroughly. One time I saw another dentist who saw Dr. Chaves' work, and the other dentist couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful Chaves' work is. I drive hours to see him now which is a pain in the ass but it's worth it because he's the best. All of the staff is amazing as well and I always enjoy visiting (other than the drive).

Took my grandma here for her appointment and the office was really nice! The office is clean and welcoming and staff are friendly. Dr. Chaves was incredible and my grandmother really liked him! I recently had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Chaves and it was a quick procedure. Everyone tried to make me as comfortable as possible and checked in on me while the procedure was happening. Lisa in the back office has been helpful with my Invisalign treatment process and very easy to talk to about any questions I have. Overall, a lot of the staff greet me with welcoming smiles and hellos. Very friendly and Liza and Stephanie are helpful when making appointments and with general billing questions.

Immediately on arrival everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Staff and dentists do everything to make sure you feel comfortable. A particularly nice detail is they’ll play whatever music you prefer during your visit. Your favorite Coldplay songs can take your mind off the dental work if you’re a nervous patient like me. After quite sometime not seeing a dentist, I have found an office I love and a team that makes me feel cared for.
