She's worked very well with this 75+ year old. She brings tears to my eyes -- but all in a good cause.
Jamie is great. She has treated every member of my family. She is great for athletes who want to recover and stay in shape. As a triathlete, she knows how to navigate injury and recovery.
Jamie is an excellent listener who customizes treatment and exercises to help you move beyond injury to longer term wellness. She is especially knowledgeable about sports injury treatment.

Jamie has helped me recover from a persistent and painful Achilles tendinitis condition that has dogged me for more than 25 years. During that time, I have seen numerous doctors and physical therapists with no lasting improvements in the condition. I tried every recommended treatment over the years, including massage, ultrasound acupuncture, cortisone, and stretching. One highly respected doctor with a nationally renowned hospital locally insisted that I needed emergency surgery on my Achilles; thankfully, I rejected that opinion. My tendinitis flared up at the slightest activity, and the pain and swelling prevented me running, hiking, and other exercises that I loved. I was terribly discouraged. Even though my treatments with Jamie are not complete, I am excited to report that I am finally back to jogging pain-free. Jamie’s unique treatment includes deep tissue massage combined with specific exercises that are tailored to my condition and constantly modified as I continue to improve. In addition, and as important, Jamie keeps me from becoming impatient or frustrated by routinely providing me with updated assessments of my condition, assurances about the pace of my progress, and her projection for a more complete and long-term recovery. I find Manual Therapy Effects, Physical Therapist, to be a great follow-on to Rehab PT/OT and to coordinate very well with core training with a Personal Trainer. We work on balance, flexibility, and areas of pain or discomfort. During Pandemic, we work seamlessly using online therapy and some basic & easily obtained home aids.
Jamie is a talented therapist. She asks questions and takes the time to understand your body. Highly recommend. Being in pain makes you vulnerable and having someone there to work things out is so truly valuable

My wife insisted I see Jamie for my condition. “If anyone is going to get you better, and stop suffering, she is the one to help you.” She helped my wife with varying aches and pains over the years and had nothing but great things to say about her. Not one to doubt my wife, I made the appointment to see Jamie for help. Within a few sessions, I knew I was on the road to recovery, living without the back pain I suffered with. Jamie got me well enough and encouraged me to return to the gym for regular workouts. Initially, I was hesitant to go back, fearful that my back pain would return. With her reassurance, I regained the confidence I needed to get back to it. Now, I’ve been able to keep my back and the rest of my body strong without the worry of my back pain becoming a long term issue. Less
Jamie is amazing. She helped my teenage daughter overcome a repetitive strain injury from swimming. She understands how it's hard for athletes to be hampered by pain, and she helped my daughter find a way to stay in the sport and stay motivated while having to cut back on time spent in the pool. Jamie is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend her!

She works wonders with her hands on therapy and i would recommend her to anyone who has an injury and wants to get back to their sport. Less
I went to Jamie with lower back pain so bad that I had trouble moving every morning. She guided me through exercises that are quick and easy to do which provided me the ability to move again. I am grateful for her expertise and care.
Jamie has a unique and unmatched ability to ease the several chronic issues that persist with me as a result of multiple hip surgeries. I highly recommend Jamie and her ability to diagnose and treat physical problems that other therapists don't correctly identify.

Through her guidance, my daughter regained her mobility, increased functional strength, and supercharged her confidence both physically and mentally. My daughter is 3 years post op (entering her senior year) and is currently being recruited by college soccer programs. Jamie didn't just treat, she taught my daughter. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She stresses the foundation of ROM (Range of motion), while improving balance to achieve optimal strength and mobility. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, and passion! Less
Jamie is incredibly knowledgable. She has seen me for different injuries over the years and gets me back 100% quickly. I am a middle aged triathlete (as a hobby) :) and Jamie is part of the team who helps keep me moving.
I was referred to physical therapy because of an acute and very painful diagnosis of carpal tunnel. Both of my hands were trashed! My left hand was significantly worse than my right. I literally couldn’t close my left fist without spasm. I couldn’t grab or lift anything more than my coffee cup. I had increased typing issues so work was becoming more challenging. I wasn’t able to attend to the house as I needed like folding laundry, cutting the kids food up, putting away the dishes. The discomfort at night was unbearable. As a mom of two young kids and a full-time employee, I simply did not have room for this in my life! My doctor and neurologist suggested surgery. Surgery was not an option. Period. I was stuck. I didn’t know what to do except some basic stretches and R.I.C.E. These efforts clearly didn’t solve the problem. So, upon the encouragement of a friend, I went to Jamie. My friend said she was amazing! I was highly skeptical in that my pain was significant and I had reached the end of my rope. The first treatment included Jamie taking the time to thoroughly evaluate my physical state and range of motion. She also asked a lot of excellent intake questions. She explained the issue was happening not at the place of the greatest discomfort but further up on my arm… then she treated me. WOW! After the first session – I had relief! I simply couldn’t believe it! I could use my tablet, phone and laptop without the tingling discomfort and cramping. I could reach up and put away the dishes without my hands clenching. My increased range of motion without pain was remarkable! As follow-up to the first session, Jamie also provided me specific stretches for my hands and forearms. She also recommended I rearrange my workstation so it would be ergonomically more supportive to my wrists. The biggest thing I noticed is that I was making progress with every session with increased periods of relief of my symptoms. After the fourth session, the pain was no longer keeping me up at night and I could lift my kids without discomfort. The symptoms were so much better. I had lasting relief! I finally have hope I’ll get to a point where I won’t have to live with this chronic pain. In fact, I actually feel like I can get back to working out in that I can now grasp a dumbbell. I simply cannot say enough about Jamie‘s competence, professionalism, knowledge, and overall demeanor. I am so grateful that I could avoid surgery due to her expertise. I highly recommend her! Less

I felt comfortable going to Jami because I knew she was an excellent therapist and also that I would only be working with her. I have been to Physical Therapists where I was passed off to an assistant or made to sit in limbo icing. When I visit with Jami I have her full undivided attention for the whole visit. I look forward to my sessions to where I can achieve another goal she has set for me. Jami is is an extremely knowledgeable and professional Physical Therapist. Jamie understands that athletes want to get back to doing what they love. She will get you heathy as quickly as possible. She helped me find the cause of a foot injury and got me back to running in just a few weeks. I will definitely use her again for future injuries.
