I 10/10 highly recommend going to see Shelby!To give a little backstory; I am currently one month postpartum and was having a hard time with my hair being long as it didn’t feel like me anymore. It was also making me super frustrated as it would get in the way of breastfeeding and it just felt so heavy on my head when I had it up. So I took some scissors to it myself. I had gone to a salon that was highly recommended on Facebook to help clean it up and straighten the edges and the first salon I went to make it so uneven and botched that I had so many different lengths in my hair. She also took it up way too high and took off a lot more length than I wanted. Needless to say I left in tears.After leaving the first salon I went in search of a better salon to help me fix her mistake and my hair. Textures salon was highly recommended to me, more specifically Shelby was highly recommended. She was so sweet and was able to fit me in last minute and help me fix my hair. She listened to my concerns as well as what I was wanting and gave her feedback as well on something she could do to fix my hair. She made me feel so welcomed and safe to leave my hair in her hands and my hair turned out so good! And with how emotional I was she even let me cry a little in her chair! So friendly and listened!!!! Walked out loving my hair (even though it’s shorter than I originally wanted) but she fixed it up so nicely!Thank you so much Shelby for making a very emotional freshly postpartum mom feel like herself again!
