The people are very responsive and friendly at Kites. I am pleased that my things were ready when promised. I took two stars away because I was shocked at what I was charged to hem two pair of slacks. I accept the greatest share of the blame for failing to ask the price before leaving without asking. I wish I had! I have a sewing machine and am capable of hemming, but I was intimidated because I didn't have a serger and needed for my knit slacks to be perfect for work. A 30-minute task cost me over $70! To make matters worse, the slacks were hemmed not with a serger, but with two rows of straight stitches, and the threads were not trimmed. I could have done a better job and saved myself the money.

I took my 50 year old wedding dress apart and remade it into a cocktail dress to wear for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I took it to Kites to have cleaned. I was a tad nervous because it’s 50 years old. But they were so nice and texted the next day that it was ready. Picked it up and looks beautiful and I cannot wait to wear it. The girl was so excited for me and we loved my story. I highly recommend Kites.
