I initially gave this place 5 stars because they took out a QR code and strongly suggested I write a review after getting part of my treatment completed. So I did because my deep cleaning went well, it was painless and they were very patient, all the staff are really nice and I knew that I had to continue to come here to get work done.However there were some alarming things that I kinda pushed aside. I felt pressured into paying for the treatment the day off although I mentioned I needed time to rearrange my finances. I caved in instead of getting a second opinion because of all the great reviews. If I would have known that the staff places great importance on having patients write a review while in the office I might have looked elsewhere and maybe I wouldn’t have had so many complications. I got a deep cleaning and a crown. The deep cleaning is done in 2 parts which isn’t bad necessarily but if you are someone that doesn’t have the flexibility to make two appointments for one service it might be an inconvenience. My crown however, initially I was told before paying that the treatment for everything would be done in 3 sessions. Since august I’ve been to the dentist 9! times and counting. Getting a crown is all very new to me so I don’t know what to expect and when I asked if this is normal I felt gaslit. I wish they gave me some follow up care instructions on what to expect, what’s normals what’s not. Overall they are all very nice but personally I wouldn’t say I experienced a 5 star rating from this place. And if you’re someone like me that was looking for a dentist, reading reviews and seeing who to place your trust in DONT let all the 5 star reviews sway you, feel it out for yourself and if you need to get a second opinion I would strongly suggest that. Needed to find a new dental provider since my last sold his practice. By chance I googled this location and found it to have 5 stars. This was more than enough to grab my attention so I scheduled an appointment. I came in and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I spoke with the dentist(Dr. Mercado) and hygienist(Lupe) and all took their time in explaining the procedures and reasons. Something I have never really received in the past. They can get very technical but they have a way of explaining so anyone with non-medical terminology are able to understand. Today I received an evaluation and tomorrow will come in for the actuall cleaning. I will update the review once I get the procedures done. UPDATE: Came in for my appointment and did not wait more than 5 mins to be taken in to get my cleaning (huge plus, since my last dentist would have me wait 20 minutes before bring me in) Lupe did a wonderful job she is very dedicated and takes her time in explaining the procedures and provides preventative care tips. I appreciate her gentle touch as well and even plays the clients favorite type of music in the background (Interpol for me). I usually don't like dentist visits, but my experience with Orange Estates has motivated to take better care of my teeth and look forward for my next appointment to see how much my hygiene care has improved. I called on a Wednesday, which is when they’re closed, and Aleida answered right away and was able to schedule me for the very next day. I had a toothache on the top right side of my mouth that was causing me killer headaches. I had gone to another dentist back in November 2023 and he said it was minor cavities. When I was seen by Dr. Mercado, he explained to me I had an infection on my nerve cause by the fractured tooth I had and that’s why I was in pain and suffering from headaches. He saw the concerned look I had on my face and proceeded to ask me what I was thinking. I told him I’ve had a bad experience with a root canal on a previous tooth and didn’t want to go through that again. He explained the procedure and walked me step by step as to how he will fix and save my tooth. Then he saw I was worried about the cost of all of this dental work that needed to be done. He took me to meet with Bell and together we came up with a financial plan that fits me. Overall, I’m so glad I listened to my coworker and scheduled an appointment at Orange Estate.
