Gerard, at DF6 Defense Academy, has created a great place for self defense training. The floor mats are clean and thick enough to protect the participant as they practice any type of floor skills. There is a wall specifically for training how to get free of an attacker who has you pushed against a wall. There are plenty of chairs and lots of “cubby holes” for your personal belongings to stay while you train. There is excellent communication via phone, text or email if you have a question.

My daughter has been going here for nine months and we love, Coach G! I highly recommend she is only 3 1/2 and they are learning real skills to defend themselvesIt is also a very clean studio, which I really enjoy considering that people are rolling around and sweating with their feet out 😂

In June 2025 I took the concealed carry class at DF6 Defense Academy, and the entire experience was outstanding. The instructor is incredibly professional, informative, and thorough, ensuring every student leaves with a strong understanding of safety, law, and practical skills.During the class, I learned about the other services offered at the academy, including their youth and discipline-focused training. It truly made me wish I had found this academy much sooner. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier defense training or a structured environment to build strong character.
