I was referred to John from Leak Authority for the installation of an Automatic Seismic Gas Shutoff valve, which was required by my home insurance carrier. After an initial phone consultation and sending him pictures of my gas meter, a team member promptly reached out to schedule an appointment. John arrived promptly and explained the installation process to me. The installation was completed in approximately an hour. He also demonstrated how to reset the valve and ensured that our gas line was functioning normally. Overall, John was highly professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Leak Authority.

The technician was professional, respectful, and made sure to leave the area spotless. You can tell they really care about their customers. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I had a leak in my Sausalito PUD townhouse that caused some concern with my tenant. John came out with high tech equipment and impressive knowledge of piping systems and the workings of multi unit water systems. He was able to identify the leak and repair in the same visit thereby making my tenant a very happy camper.

I can't say enough good things about J at The Leak Authority. He's one of the most honest, straight-to-the-point technicians I've ever met -- no BS, no games. Unlike most companies that try to upsell you on things you don't need, J does the exact opposite. He'll actually talk you out of spending money on unnecessary work, which says a lot about his integrity.When he came out, he found a small leak in my toilet and just fixed it on the spot, charging me only for the leak detection. It didn't even require parts, but most companies would've still hit me with a bill for a new toilet or some inflated repair. Not J -- he did what was needed and nothing more.It's refreshing to work with someone who values honesty over making an extra buck. If you want a leak detection company that treats you right, The Leak Authority is it.

A local contractor told me that I had a leak under the concrete floor in my garage. I spoke with John at The Leak Authority about the problem. He came out and was polite and professional while using diagnostic equipment. Thankfully I didn't have to break up the concrete as the contractor had wanted to do and charge a bundle. My leak was eight inches under ground outside in a pipe that was located and repaired saving me a lot of money and worry.

We had water come up from the floors on a rental unit, and needed to diagnose the cause and repair ASAP. It was beyond our handyman's capabilities. I called a plumber who came over to assess the situation, and said to me that I needed to call John because John had the skills and equipment to figure out cause of the leak. John was very nice over the phone while at a project. He told me he could come the next day at a specific time. He was timely, diagnosed the problem without me there, took lots of pictures, sent them by text, and called me to explain that it was the kitchen drain due to deterioration of my 73 year old plumbing. He turned around a quote quickly, and he replaced the drain pipe quickly, within a day. What i liked about john is that he's not trying to oversell me extra things I don't need. I would worry about various plumbing scenarios but he would steer me away from services I did not need; and only what is necessary. I liked that a lot. He always picked up the phone, answer texts, and calls me back ASAP once his hands were freed. He's very hands on, and I would use John again, but let's hope I don't have to.
