What a gem we found. After searching for.a Memorable seafood experience we finally found our place. Fresh and not overdressed with sauces. The service is amazing and the ambience is really tasteful. We are on our second visit and are sure to fit in a couple more. This is definitely somewhere you should come if you’re chasing a fabulous seafood restaurant dinner like we were. Don’t waste time, you have found it. ❤️😋👍🏻

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We had a fantastic experience at Esprit Seafood Restaurant and Bar in Bentota. The seafood was incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you could really tell that a lot of care went into the preparation.A special mention to Chandupa and Sadeepa, who were fantastic throughout our visit. They were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. They really helped make the evening such an enjoyable experience.Another highlight was meeting Hashila, the chef, who was not only talented in the kitchen but also incredibly generous. He even shared his personal recipe for the delicious sauce with us — such a lovely and unexpected touch!The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with great food, excellent service and a lovely selection of drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would definitely return.Highly recommended if you’re in Bentota and looking for fantastic seafood and genuinely warm hospitality! 🦐🐟🍹❤️

As an Aussie from the coast visiting was unsure what to expect having eaten fresh seafood my whole life but was pleasantly surprised. Got the jumbo prawns and crayfish, seasoned well and could tell they were fresh. About $50 AUD for each meal (standard price back home) but got about 4x the amount of what you’d expect. Great hospitality and offered us a shot of Arak at the end of our meals!Was a bit hard to find but luckily a local helped us get there and as usual in Sri Lanka expect a little bit of a wait before you get your meal.

The customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I ordered the mutton kottu, and it was absolutely delicious. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and one of the best I've had. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant with great food and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
