I would definitely recommend 2nd Life Home repair and remodeling to anyone! They were very professional and pleasant to work with. After the flood we had 2 very bad experiences with other contractors trying to repair our basement living area. Contacted 2nd life and everything was completed in a very timely manner. Tim was very helpful in walking us through the process and the 2 workmen, Zach and Paul, were very pleasant and hard working. Again, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional business!!

My kitchen remodel with 2nd Life was a great experience and result. They are very family oriented and above board honest. With any older home remodel, you never know what you will find under the surface. There was a major unexpected with mine, and it altered my plan quite a bit. The first solution to the problem wasn't to my liking, so I consulted a retired contractor friend of mine. I am not a contractor, so the options weren't right there for me. Jeremy met with us, we talked, and came up with a plan that was good for everyone. I was very impressed that Jeremy was willing to listen and discuss and come to a conclusion. Many bigger contractors would solve the problem to fit their schedule and plan, not 2nd Life! There was also a defect with one of the cabinets that wasn't their doing, but they took care of it anyways! I would not hesitate to have 2nd Life do any other project that may come up! ***** ******

in 2020 they redid my 2nd floor bathroom. It had things for the original build from the 60s. They did a great job on the bathroom. We ran into something weird with the design of my house and some shelves in shower area but they worked with us on an alternative which worked out.Overall they did a good , no real gotcha on this job. Communication was great and I would use them again.

4.5 stars. We are very happy with our new bathrooms. There were some bumps along the way both in process and work quality but ultimately all was corrected to our satisfaction. They are very responsive and trustworthy and I would recommend.

We are really pleased with the kitchen remodel completed by 2nd Life. We had a desire to better utilize the kitchen/dining space and they did a great job on providing design options. The remodel was a big change with the removal of a wall, soffits, and complexities of varying floor heights. They did great with both the work they did and subcontracting to a very skilled electrician and plumbing group.This is our third remodel with 2nd Life, and we wouldn’t hesitate to do another project with them.

We are very happy with 2nd Life, they remodeled our main bathroom and updated our kitchen counters. The team of Zach and Michael were very professional, always on time, did excellent work and communicated very well with us. The picture shows the shower remodel that they did for us. We will use them again for another upcoming project.

4.5 stars. In the end I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy family business who will go to great lengths to ensure a good remodeling experience. What went well: -CoConstruct Project Management App that was used was great for communications, scheduling, and finances throughout the project -Reasonably priced in line with most mid-grade remodelers -Good, trustworthy owners and workers -Recommended trustworthy subcontractors who were easy to work with -GREAT response to mistakes, concerns & feedback throughout the project -End product was a much more functional and beautiful kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and mudroom. What didn't go so well: -Promised 6-8 weeks, project was 80% finished after 10 weeks, 100% finished after 16 weeks (2 separate cabinet delays) -Some of the initial work wasn't completed with high quality (but response and ultimate resolution was good) -Communications & Expectation management were mostly good but could've been better -A few initial design mismeasurements caused downstream change orders and more cost for both contractor and client.

First, I'd definitely use them again. Second, I'd give them a 4.6-star review. They did total renovation of my kitchen (including removing a wall) and main bath. Cost was more than I wanted, but in line with the 6 other detailed estimates I received from other very well reviewed (4.4 or higher) contractors. It took 2-1/2 months for main work, plus another month intermittently for a few touch-ups. They even helped identify a problem with my poorly insulated attic, which I then had fixed (by another company) towards the end of the renovation. Hiccups along the way, which is to be expected in a job of this size. But they worked with me and I couldn't be happier with the results! PS Cost listed below does not include the kitchen appliances or cabinet hardware.

2nd Life remodeled our bathroom, and we loved the experience and end product. This is our second project with 2nd Life because they are always a pleasure to work with. The craftsmanship is great and we appreciate that they do most of the work with their team, only subcontracting plumbing and electrical. The project ran exactly on the timeline provided and the app they use for tracking makes it easy to communicate. We look forward to working with them again.

Great experience. I am glad we went with 2nd Life. Our remodeled kitchen is beautiful. Terrific workers, great communication. They handled every question we raised with top notch professionalism. And our carpenter Jim was terrific in finding solutions to all the little details that come up.
