We recently visited Lone Pine in Carmel City Center for the third time, and we absolutely love this place. The House Focaccia with sun-dried tomato butter is a must, and the Roasted Carrots with lavender honey are incredible. Our teenage boys always order the Wild Boar Bolognese, and this time we also had the Ribeye, which was cooked perfectly. They have a great wine selection too, the Chardonnay I had was excellent. The service was wonderful, and we had such a great time sitting outdoors in beautiful Carmel City Center. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back soon!

I should have expected this place to fall short when the majority of their positive reviews have to come from the owner, employees or friends of staff.Food is good, service is subpar and ambiance is bleh. For the price point you end up spending here you're much better off going somewhere else.

One of the best overal meal experiences Ive ever had. Our server Rebecca did a wonderful job answering any questions and she was very prompt. Interior of the restaurant was beautiful and intiment. The ribeye was very good but appetizers and starters were the true stars of the show! Don't sleep on the greens, carrots, and crab cake.

This was my first visit, a belated birthday dinner with my wife.I had the 8 oz. filet. I requested medium-rare; however, it was a solid medium; and it was a bit dry. Annoying, but not worth sending back... we all know how that goes!My wife had sides only, a lobster tail with brussel sprouts, which were good; no complaints there.The atmosphere of the restaurant was "okay". It was busy, but the energy of the place felt subdued, if that makes any sense. Perhaps it was just the vibe I got from our waitress. She seemed friendly enough, but when the table beside us was seated, I realized she was using a routine.Which I get, it's hard to be creative, but her greeting and friendly banter was verbatim from table to table...it was tansactional friendliness.Also, this was a dinner celebrating my birthday, which they recognized and wished me a happy birthday. BUT, they didn't even offer me a lousy free scoop ice cream! I know that sounds petty, but it would have meant a lot.With all that being said, I don't know that we will return, hopefully your visit will be better.

The service was great. The apps and sides were great. The 32oz bone in ribeye (no lip) ordered medium rare comes out dry and well done. Josh comes out to mansplain thay dryaged steak looks that way and I must not no that. Given I eat out and cook steak myself (dry aged too) I am familiar with how steak temperatures look and taste.So the food rating is for Josh and the poor execution of a steak. Again the staff was wonderful and attentive. Drinks and wine menu were impressive.
