This was my first visit, a belated birthday dinner with my wife.I had the 8 oz. filet. I requested medium-rare; however, it was a solid medium; and it was a bit dry. Annoying, but not worth sending back... we all know how that goes!My wife had sides only, a lobster tail with brussel sprouts, which were good; no complaints there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was "okay". It was busy, but the energy of the place felt subdued, if that makes any sense. Perhaps it was just the vibe I got from our waitress. She seemed friendly enough, but when the table beside us was seated, I realized she was using a routine.Which I get, it's hard to be creative, but her greeting and friendly banter was verbatim from table to table...it was tansactional friendliness. Also, this was a dinner celebrating my birthday, which they recognized and wished me a happy birthday. BUT, they didn't even offer me a lousy free scoop ice cream! I know that sounds petty, but it would have meant a lot. With all that being said, I don't know that we will return, hopefully your visit will be better.
