I was advised of a death in the family in Calgary, however I live in Ontario so it made things more difficult. I couldn't be more thankful to Kurtis and his team. Kurtis himself stayed in touch with me offering several options to return the remains to me. Melissa later contacted me to assist with the paperwork. Everyone I worked with were sympathetic and professional. I've worked with funeral homes before, but I truly believe Kurtis is leading his team to go the extra mile. He and his team made the process as easy as it could be. Thank you!

My Mother had made things easy for us - her plan for her death had been known to all of us well before she actually passed. She had researched crematoriums with us and had decided on Simply Cremations, part of the Evan J. Strong Funeral Services. She liked the name first and foremost because it was exactly what she wanted - a simple cremation. When my Mom passed, I just had to call Simply Cremations and they looked after the transport and setting up both the initial family meeting and the Aftercare meeting for us. Everything went smoothly and the team was so professional. They didn’t try to upsell us with options that we didn’t want. I liked the fact that their documentation was mostly prepared before our meetings, so there wasn’t endless time spent filling out forms. I liked the fact that they were respectful of my Mom, and I liked the fact that they took the time after all was done to check in to see how we were doing. I have already recommended Simply Cremations to two families in the last month, who are nearing the end with a loved one. Would 100% recommend them again.

I highly recommend Simply Cremations! I came here grieving my best friend and had no clue what to do with any funeral arrangements. Kayla and David helped me and walked me through the whole process every step of the way. They were more than helpful they were compassionate and extremely kind in my time of need. They still check in on me and my family months after the funeral service has taken place. Outstanding service especially in such a hard emotional chapter of my family's life. Simply Cremations and Funerals Services are very wonderful folks. My son Michael suddenly passed away in north Calgary. My family and I flew out from Nova Scotia as soon as we got the news. We were told at the Peter Lougheed Centre by Give life Alberta a list of funeral services nearby and we talked with Simply Cremations first and had no need to speak with any other firms.They were immediately helpful, caring courteous and very longing and respectful.I recommend these folks extremely highly!Rick, Betty, David and Patrick Patterson fromWestville Nova Scotia.
