I had such a wonderful experience with one of the nurses Leida who cared for me after my surgery.She went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable. She personally wheeled me to my home while i was still under the effects of anesthesia.What could've been a stressful moment felt calm and reassuring, I’m grateful for her patience and compassion. Pulse Medical Transportation picked my mother up from her assisted living. She has Alzheimer’s and needs extra help getting ready and being reminded where she is going. The owner was patient and kind with my mother and made sure she was safely brought to our family event. She ensured my mom felt comfortable during the trip. I highly recommend Pulse Medical if you’re looking for a kind and well trained medical transportation service!

I highly recommend Leida Guerrero, RN / Owner of Pulse Medical Transportation to help with getting anyone to and from their appointments at their doctor’s office or any med/ surge facility. She was recommended by the SNF where my 89yo father with dementia had received PT/OT after a fall. He was able to use a walker, but transfers into and out of any vehicle would be a fall risk. I was looking for any reliable company that could transport my dad home by wheelchair. I got much more than expected with Leida. She was professional, she arrived before the scheduled time, and she was friendly and caring with my dad as well as with my mom who had waited at home for their arrival. Since then, Leida has helped transport my dad to and from multiple appointments and my mom has ridden with them each time. Though she has said that I could ride with them as well, I have declined. But there is room for loved ones to ride as well. Leida has done a wonderful job with my parents whether I’m there or not. She helped us with transportation to and from 6 other appointments including one for a cataract surgery. When I was not at one of the appointments, Leida contacted me to let me know about a wound on my dad’s foot that was irritated by the rubber slippers he was wearing. Another time she let me know that one of the brakes on my dad’s wheelchair was not working because a screw was missing and the footplates were also missing (my mom had accidentally removed a brake screw when she removed the footplates). Leida actually cares about her clients, their safety and pain from wounds or sources that their doctors or family members might have missed—myself included as both a doctor and a family member. She is reliable and she is always on time or ahead of time. She is more patient with my parents than I am. And, most importantly, my parents and I trust that she will provide safe and timely transportation to and from all medical / surgical appointments.Dr. Christine Obata, MD
