I used to think all opticians were pretty much the same, until today! I booked myself and my daughter in (didn’t have to wait ages for an appointment!) for a routine eye test and just found the whole experience really lovely. All the staff we encountered were warm and friendly. We were seen on time and didn’t have to wait, but tbh wouldn’t have minded waiting as we were given a drink and shown to a comfy chair! My daughter is 10 and is always anxious about eye tests after a bad experience with a grumpy optician, but as soon as Harpreet started chatting to her I could see her instantly relax and she smiled throughout the whole appointment which has never happened before! We both got our prescriptions and chose our glasses with no pressure and just the right amount of guidance. Mine were a little more than I usually pay but also the best selection to choose from and the nicest glasses I’ve had so I didn’t mind at all. Would really recommend coming here!
