Kingdom Fitness in Training

I came to KFit as someone who wanted to eventually get into group classes but needed a on-ramp. It had been 10+ years since I'd been to a gym. Six personal training sessions with Caleb later, that's exactly what happened. Today was my first group class, and I felt surprisingly confident. What makes Caleb a great coach is his ability to find your edge with you, rather than just telling you where it is. He pays attention to what motivates you, what clicks, and what doesn't. You leave each session with a better sense of your own capacity. The on-ramp worked so well because he structured my personal training sessions around what he was actually running in the group classes. By the time I walked into my first class, the flow and language were already familiar. One more thing worth mentioning: my 6yo son joined me for several sessions. Caleb gave him simpler versions of the exercises, chatted with him, even set up obstacle courses to keep him engaged so I could actually train. It's a small thing, maybe, but it said a lot. He cares about removing the obstacles between you and a good workout, whatever those happen to be.Highly recommend KFit and Caleb, especially if you're trying to build toward something.
