I contacted Household Environmental late in the evening after we had some unexpected water in the basement due to a plumbing failure. The water was not excessive but out of an abundance of caution we wanted to have it checked and if necessary were ready to do whatever necessary to have it properly and professionally cleaned/dried. Household Environmental responded immediately and we agreed they would come out first thing in the morning. They arrived on time, were professional and courteous. They inspected the basement, tested for moisture and humidity and let us know that no further drying or treatment was needed beyond what we and the plumber had already done. They did not charge for this. We were beyond impressed with the entire experience and grateful for their honesty!

Upon discovering interior dry wall black mold, I contacted Household Environmental. That was the correct choice. Jack quickly responded to my phone call to set up an appointment to assess the damage. During the walk-through of the affected rooms, he thoroughly explained what needed to be done in each; what his crew would be doing to set up containment areas as well as how they would be removing the affected dry wall. The estimate provided was acceptable and the contract was signed.His remediation crew ( Cullen and Jose) showed up precisely when scheduled. After Cullen explained what they would be doing, they were professional, precise and meticulous in establishing and isolating their work areas and in the removal of the damaged dry wall and cleaning up the debris. Throughout this phase both Jack and Cullen were quick to address any questions that I had.Once the post remedial inspection was performed, the crew consisting of Kevin and Ray were equally proficient in the dissembling and removal of the containment sheeting and remaining equipment.A top notch company.
