We have been very happy with all of the services we have received from Local1. Tom is a master plumber whom we first met on a recommendation from a young plumber who'd worked with him at his previous employer. Tom honestly and thoroughly evaluated the pros and cons of a new tankless water heater vs. a replacement gas-fired one, then was impressively ethical in declining the job in favor of his previous employer, given the circumstances of the referral. We were so impressed we've called him for every plumbing service we've needed since -- installing new kitchen sinks, repairing a toilet that insisted on flushing over and over, fixing a clogged bathroom sink, etc. He even advised us not to hire him for work when he knew that the cost would far outweigh the benefit. I was impressed with his ethics in two different situations, one involving his agreement not to steal clients from the former company he worked for regarding maintaining swamp coolers, and another when he told me to go with a different vendor about a particular product.
