I’ve had 2 dogs go through the board and train program with Mike. Him and the trainers do a fantastic job laying a foundation with the dogs and do a great job explaining the lessons and how to reinforce it at home. I would definitely recommend sit means sit when considering a dog trainer.

We tried a different training method with Arnie when he was about 1 yrs old w/ no luck. His on-leash behavior was awful - always pulling and very reactive. After doing the Associates class with Sit Means Sit recently - he's so much better! For the first time he's able to consistently follow commands, and our walks are 100% more enjoyable - for both of us! Thanks Danielle and Mike :)

We are really pleased with how our Sit Means Sit associate class went. Cooper had a foundation but we really built upon it in these sessions. Our goal is to be able to walk him more comfortably as he is very dog reactive on walks. We have been seeing some progress already, which is great because we have only been doing training for 3 weeks. We still have a long way to go, but I’m really excited that we also get 2 years of group classes and brush ups to keep us on the right track.

I took my 12 week old GSD to their Puppy class and I’m so glad I did. Danny was the instructor and did an amazing job teaching the basics of sit, place, come, heel as well as answering questions with patience and kindness. We had Mike the owner on our last class and his love and enthusiasm for training dogs really shows. We also have a 4 year old GSD and I wish I would have found Sit Means Sit when we were training her. I highly recommend them!

Sit Means Sit is fantastic! I found Eddy as a stray pup, and before I introduced him to my other 2 pups, I needed a trainer to work with him. I’ve never owned a stray off the street, so I was overwhelmed. Mike and Leslie are fantastic! They helped give Eddy structure, and healthy boundaries. They helped me get comfortable with giving him rules, and being consistent. Eddy is the sweetest pup, and has adjusted so well to life with 2 other dogs. I couldnt own 3 pups without Sit Means Sits’s help. I love that they also have boarding. Theyre familiar with Eddy, so there wont be issues. So glad I found them!!

Love it here. Mike and Leslie helped me with our German shepherd puppy. Do what they tell you to do and you will see results. I can not say enough positive things about them. Any issues we had they addressed right away and taught us how to correct him. Now we understand and know how to handle our puppy.

We cannot say enough about Sit Means Sit dog training. We initially took our 4 month old shih tzu, Winston, to the 4 week puppy preschool class. Winston began to learn his basic commands with us during class and then we would practice with him throughout week. Winston then participated in the board and train, where he spent 5 days with the trainers. We walked in on Friday evening to bring him home, and we were amazed that he stayed in his place despite coming in the door. It wasn't until Mike told him he could break, that he came to us asking for pets. Bringing him home has been nothing short of amazing, he's like a brand new dog, happy, confident and knows what he is expected to do. I highly recommend.

I brought my mini doxie Elsie here for training. I knew I was moving into a condo and she would really need to behave herself. I saw their brochure and I could not be happier! She is truly 90% of the time good and will listen to me even in the house.She is truly a social butterfly but will sit and wait till I let her go and say hi. Occasionally we need to wear our collar for a reminder. I highly recommend this training center. My Elsie has had only but positive experiences snd she therefore is such a pleasure to have.

After our baby was born we were worried about some fearful tendencies our (almost) one year old puppy Darwin had begun to display.He was jumping on walks, pulling, lunging and barking at strangers and the last thing we wanted him to do was behave like that when we were walking with him and the baby.We looked for dog trainers in the area, and we are so glad that we found Sit Means Sit. We did there five day training with them and it is made a world of difference. Tori was fantastic with our puppy, and we felt comfortable leaving him with her for the days and she did so well with him. Him. He is a more confident, well-behaved dog. We took our 3 year old rescue dog for a consultation with Mike and he reassured us they would be able to correct his lack of manners and issues. Zander went for the 10 day camp and we couldn't be happier. Everyone at Sit Means Sit was amazing. We were sad to leave him there, but he got so much loving I don't think he missed us too much. We had family come over after we brought him home and they could not believe how well behaved he was. We had our other dog trained at Sit Means Sit and were so impressed, we knew we had to do the same for Zander. I cannot recommend Mike and his amazing team enough. It is definitely money well spent.

We first met Mike, the owner, for a consultation visit. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time explain the process of training and answered all of our questions. We enrolled Moose in the class and we were very impressed with how much he learned in the first class. Moose is a 2yr old lab mix. He always wanted to do whatever he wants and was a handful during walks. After working with Mike and other staff members, Moose listens better and is learning not to tug on the leash. He is working better and following commands quickly. He still needs work, which is why we also attend group classes. The group classes are fun. Along with a chance to work with a trainer, Moose is also learning how to ignore other dogs and distractions. I would recommend Sit means Sit to any of my friends who are looking to get training for their dogs.

I have two Doodle mix puppies. Gracie is almost 4 years old, and Pumpkin is 2-1/2.I adore them, but there are a few problems with unacceptable behaviors. I signed US up for “Sit Means Sit” training program called “Transformational University”.Today was the first day, and I’ve seen improvement already. We will continue to practice & I know we’ll get good results!This will be worth it!

We took Feta to be trained and not only did she receive the best training , we were taught ourselves … Mike is outstanding ! He’s extremely patient , encouraging , supportive , and was very loving towards Feta ! We are beyond grateful being referred and are so happy with our well trained pet . Our dog was the usual pet - kind of really was the Pack Leader. LOL Sit Means Sit training allowed us to reclaim our position at the top of the food chain, and in the process we have a better relationship with our pet. He is more enjoyable to have with us on walks or when people are around. He is no longer 'cute, but annoying' with his demands for attention. And he probably gets more attention now that he is better behaved, because we now will take him more places. Money WELL spent! Worth every penny
