Complaint Regarding Fence Purchase and Written Agreement I have purchased fencing from this company three times for three different homes and previously had no problems. Based on that history, I trusted the company and purchased fencing for my new property. A few months ago, I purchased fencing for one side of my property. I was told this particular fencing was in stock and did not require a special order, and that the additional fencing needed to complete my project would be held for me. I provided the requested measurements and have written communication from the company confirming that I could pick up the additional fencing. After receiving no response, I went to the company prepared to pay for and pick up the remaining fencing. I was then told they were no longer selling fencing at retail and would not provide the fencing I had previously been told was available. This contradicts their written communication and leaves me with only one side of my fence completed. The fencing is an unusual type that I cannot reasonably purchase or match from another retailer, leaving me unable to complete my project. I attempted to resolve the matter, but the employees I spoke with were rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge, I was told there was nobody else available and that everyone else had been fired. No reasonable effort was made to resolve the situation. If this matter is not resolved, I will be taking them to small claims court.

Install manager at this business has the poorest customer service skills. So disrespectful, inpatient and unknowledgeable. I would literally go to any other business to install your fence and you’ll be better off.

However, my son had a fence installed by this company that was a horrible mess\.A couple of months ago, I went to the company to purchase additional fencing for my new home\. I only purchased one side of the fence because this particular fence was in stock and they told me they were saving it for me\. I was assured that I would be able to purchase the remaining fencing when I was ready\.When I returned to purchase the rest of the fence, I was told they would no longer sell it to me\. This was extremely frustrating because I relied on what I had previously been told and made my plans based on that agreement\.I have been a repeat customer and have purchased fencing from this company for three different homes\. I believe it is unreasonable to make a commitment to a customer and then refuse to honor it\.I am requesting that the company honor its written commitment and allow me to purchase and pick up the remaining fencing\. If they are unwilling or unable to do so, I am requesting a full refund and will file in smalls claims.

We hired this company through a recommendation from Lowe’s, as they were one of the contractors recommended to us as Lowe’s credit card holders. Because of that recommendation, we felt confident moving forward with a nearly $14,000 fence installation.Less than a year after installation, we began noticing that our large double gates were tilting and sagging. We reached out with photos at the time but never received a response.Over the years, the problem continued to worsen despite replacing the wheels and adding additional support in an effort to keep the gates functional. The gates have now deteriorated to the point that they require complete replacement.We recently had three separate fence professionals inspect the gates, and each expressed concerns regarding the original gate design and support system. When we contacted the original installer hoping they would stand behind their work or offer some assistance, we were told the gates would need to be replaced.The most disappointing part of this experience has been the lack of communication when concerns were first raised and the lack of support now that the gates have failed. A major investment like a fence should last significantly longer than a few years before requiring thousands of dollars in replacement costs.We chose this company based on a trusted recommendation and expected a much longer-lasting result. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience.
