I’ve been taking my son to Leslie for a few months now and he has learned so much from her, we really have enjoyed going to the gym. Leslie and Ivan have created such a motivating environment and they are so dedicated to every person in the gym.

Leslie is just as impressive, especially with her professional fighting experience. She knows exactly what she’s doing and brings that high-level knowledge into every session.My daughter is 13 and has been working with Leslie, and it’s been a complete game changer. It hasn’t been easy for her to build confidence, but since training here, she’s grown so much. I've been training with Ivan for over a year. This is no weak sauce "fitness" boxing, this is real training plus a great workout. If you have ever wanted to learn to box, this is the right place for you.

I came in for a free trial and unfortunately wasn’t able to participate because this gym requires tennis shoes, which I wasn’t aware of beforehand (I’m used to no shoes on the mats). That part is on me for not double-checking, but it might help to make that more clearly known to first-time visitors.While I was there, I also noticed the space felt much smaller than it appears in the photos, and it was fairly crowded for a one-on-one style gym. I personally didn’t feel very welcomed during my visit, which was disappointing given the positive reviews I had read.This may just have been an off day, but I wanted to share my honest experience for others considering a trial session.

Ivan, the owner and trainer at No Xcuse Boxing, has an incredible gift for patience and encouragement, especially with new students like me, but he doesn't make it easy either . I’m 45 and only started a few months ago, but I’m completely hooked—I’ve never felt better, my coordination has improved, and I actually look forward to every session. His one-on-one training is stellar, and even during open gym he and his team are always offering helpful pointers and genuine support. Everyone on staff is there to help, and all the clients bring an energy that makes the gym feel welcoming and full of excitement. It’s a positive, motivating place where you can tell people truly enjoy being there.

Great gym! They really create a family environment where you feel welcomed yet challenged. Working with Leslie has been fantastic. Starting from nothing, I have seen my own growth since starting my sessions at the gym. With friendly, excellent trainers, the gym has everything a growing boxer can need!

Great place to train with experienced athletes. Ivan is a great guy who knows how to make you work/sweat but also doesn’t judge you. Been going for 2 months now and still enjoying it!
