We honestly cannot recommend Lindsay & Sons Funeral Home enough. From the moment we met Evan, we felt completely safe and cared for. He answered our thousands of questions (ha!) with so much patience and never once made us feel rushed, needy or like we were asking too much. He was incredibly knowledgeable, wise beyond his years, and had the most gentle voice and calming, graceful energy.We have a very big family, and somehow Evan made every single one of us feel heard, reassured and confident that our mum was in the best hands. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and guided us through such a difficult process with genuine love and compassion.Meeting Evan’s dad, David, was just as lovely. We could immediately see where Evan got his compassion from. David brought such warmth, wisdom and perfectly timed humour that suited our mum’s personality so beautifully. He understood what “bespoke” really meant and even connected with us over our love of crystals, allowing us to place our own crystal in our mum’s coffin, such a personal touch that meant so much to us.Lindsay & Sons gave our mum the most beautiful care, dignity and respect, and we will be forever grateful.I genuinely couldn’t recommend them more. They are absolutely who I’d want looking after me when I pass on. 😇❤️

This was the first funeral I have ever had to organise, and it was for my beloved husband. From the very beginning, David and his son were incredibly supportive, guiding me through every step of the process with kindness, compassion, and professionalism.Whenever I had questions or needed advice, they were always available to help and never once made me feel like I was a burden. Their patience and understanding meant so much during such a difficult time.On the day of the funeral, David was absolutely outstanding. He was compassionate, and incredibly patient with us, making sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for their care and support. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional and truly caring team.

Sadly we've had to use this family run business 5 times in the last 3 years. They are fantastic, very welcoming, friendly at the most difficult and emotional time people have to go through. Dave is warm, compassionate, understanding and very accommodating to the familys wishes to ensure we gave our loved ones the best send off. Dealing with Dave, Evan & Holly made the funeral preparations stress free and wonderful. I would highly recommend using them, they are very professional and their fees are very reasonable too. We are a huge family and everyone said what friendly and warm man Dave is 🙂

I contacted Dave after being given his number from a close friend who has used his services several times. I am so very glad that I went with her recommendation because as soon as I meet Dave I felt totally at ease that he and his son would take the best care of my beloved brother. They were both kind, professional, patient, helpful and respectful. Their experience and knowledge was a god send guiding me through a very emotional time and I will forever be grateful. I would highly recommend them to everyone whenever the need arises and have kept their contact details in my phone for when my time comes.

What can I say? Perfect, respectful and considerate. Everything went well and my mum left this world for the next with dignity.Flowers placed where they should be, drivers dealing with London traffic - never at it's best or caring - with so much diplomatic effort, all journies were without added stress.In all the sadness and lost, DA Lindsay & Sons made the day bearable. Big thank you to David Lindsay for all his kindness in helping me to arrange my much-loved Aunts funeral and for trusting me to represent his company when he agreed to let me direct her funeral (I am Cert DipFD and was a Funeral Director for over 20 years). Massive thank you to Evan Lindsay for all his help, from the Order of Service to being a calming knowledgeable presence on the day.
