I had solar hot water collectors removed from a second-storey house to prepare for a solar panel install. I'd originally contacted Doherty Plumbing months earlier for a heat pump hot water install — went with someone else at the time but flagged I'd likely need them for the collector removal later. When I called back, James remembered! He broke down the full pricing over the phone — callout fee, hourly rates for the plumbers (need more hands to safely remove from second storey), disposal — and even thought to include tip fees, which I'd forgotten about entirely. Flexible and thorough throughout. On the day, the crew worked quickly and even washed down the wall without prompting and replaced a couple of cracked tiles for me, leaving the area immaculate for solar panel installation. The invoice came in under the phone estimate and the savings were passed back to me. That kind of honesty is greatly appreciated. Will be using Doherty Plumbing again and have no hesitation recommending them.

Excellent customer and professional service. In a time where many plumbers prefer to replace old with new- it was so refreshing to have Doherty plumbing have the expertise to do repairs which was a huge cost saving. The crew was punctual and very friendly. Can’t recommend them highly enough !

We recently used Doherty Plumbing Solutions, for the second time, for a problem with the ensuite plumbing, and a problem in the laundry. On both occasions we have been extremely satisfied with the work undertaken. The service was very prompt and efficient. We have previously met Brian, and this time George, and both were very pleasant to deal with. We received a text when they were on their way, and they arrived on schedule. It is reassuring to have a plumbing company that is professional, honest and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend Doherty Plumbing Solutions.

I had a great experience with the team at DP when they promptly addressed my hot water piping issue. George worked efficiently, and he was friendly and professional throughout the visit. He did a thorough job and took the time to ensure everything was done correctly. I would definitely recommend their services and would not hesitate to call them again.

Lovely guys who came out to replace our stove top but would not recommend. The plumber who installed it didn’t tighten the pipe enough so we had gas leaking for a couple of days before we had someone come out to tighten it up since it was the weekend. The gas pipe under the stove was installed too low so we can’t push the oven back in and now we need to find another plumber to come out and fix it.

James was professional and knowledgeable. He explained my shower leaking issues as I was not able to attend myself. The plumbing work was completed promptly. And I was advised next steps with Tiler to make water proof. Very helpful and would definitely recommend to my family & friends.

The team at Doherty Plumbing provided exceptional services at very short notice to fix my hot water system. Their quote was very fair and honest quote where other plumbers were charging extortionate amounts for the same problem. They were able to fix the issue within the day and communicated very well. I highly recommend their services.
